Girls Bedroom Refresh

Some of you might remember that last month I shared my oldest daughter's bedroom makeover.  That included her getting a new bed so we decided to move her old bed into my Blodie's room.  She'd had a daybed since the was 2 and was excited about switching up things a bit.  We didn't do a full make-over, but just a little refresh. It feels new to her and she's happy with it, so I'm happy with it!

I took both girls to Board and Brush with my sweet friend and they made new signs for their rooms.  I was so impressed with their creations and they loved personalizing signs to coordinate with their new rooms.

We picked up a few other new accessories to spruce up her space.  Most everything came from Tuesday Morning and Hobby Lobby.

Putting it all together was pretty quick and totally changed the look of her room!  She was most excited about having a big bed to sleep in.

For her birthday we gave her a bungee chair.  Apparently these are all the rage with kiddos these days and she as so excited.  My other two sneak in her room just to sit in it!

From the time she could walk we called her our little tornado.  It's like a path of destruction anywhere she goes. She's full speed ahead, leaves her stuff everywhere and her room is usually a mess!

She's done a little bit better about keeping her room neat since the refresh though.

Her soccer trophies and medals were starting to take over so we decided to display them above her desk.  I found these scalloped shelves at Michaels and just spray painted them white and attached little clear command hooks under to hang the medals on.

She's really happy with the refresh and I am, too. It was an easy transformation and gave her a space that felt new without putting to much money or effort into it!  Now on to the next room project...

Friday Favorites: Favorite Spring Shoes

Happy Friday friends! We are so excited that Friday has decided to come around again. Even more excited because this time around it looks like even though today has some raindrops, the rest of the weekend outlook looks amazing!

A sunny, warm weekend...we almost won't know what to do with ourselves. Our southern souls are rejoicing...and so are our feet.

Today we are switching up our Friday Favorites a bit. We wanted to stay on one topic, and share our favs from that. Because when it comes to the topic of shoes...well, they deserve a post all on their own.

Especially when they are this good.

| Tan Double Buckle | Rose Gold Sneakers | Hot Pink Sandals | Green Gold Scallop Sandals | Gold Feather Sandals | Tan Wedges | Black Patent Sandals | Grey Rope Wedges

This is the South, and we've quite the collection of sandals and flip flops in our closet. But we've culled our list down to our absolute favorites for this Spring and Summer.

| Dress | Clutch | Sandals

Okay, last summer we were introduced to the FitFlop Brand and were SO impressed. I chose a pair of the Feather Sandals on a whim and the moment I put them on my feet I knew it would be a go to sandal for the rest of the summer. This year I wanted to add a few more pairs into rotation and this fun hot pink pair topped the wish list.

| Tee | Denim Shorts | Clutch | Sandals
These hot pink sandals are just the pop of color I was looking to add this Spring to liven up some of my favorite basics. You can never go wrong with a comfortable classic white tee shirt and a good pair of denim shorts. Add a fun accessory or two to these closet staples, and it looks way "fancier" than it really is.
| Tee | Denim Shorts | Clutch | Sandals
This is pretty much the uniform you will see on either one of us from now until we are forced to wear our winter coats again. So why not have a fun little pop of pink to throw in the mix? Not to mention a super budget friendly option. This style sandal actually comes in a ton of colors and is under $40!

| Tee | White Jeans | Scalloped Sandals | Cross Body Bag |
As we were scrolling online these Scalloped Sandals caught our eye immediately. We are huge fans of anything gold, and loved the unique detail these sandals had to incorporate it. Love the fun twist on a classic style of sandal.

They look even better in person! We were a little nervous the toe loop would be a little uncomfortable, but true to form these scalloped sandals are like every other FitFlop pair we've worn - amazing

Just like the above sandals from the same brand, these Tan Double Buckle Sandals are stylish, yet comfortable. With a capital C. You feel like you're walking on a cloud!

| Dress | Sandals | Jewelry (use code MAGNOLIA for 25% off!) | Clutch (similar) |

We've worn them all day long and never once felt like our feet were tired or sore. Or really even knew our feet were there at all. They are that good.

| Striped Top | Jeans | Jewelry | Sandal

This blue cross sandal is one that we both swooned over from the moment we laid eyes on it. The blue and white pattern just spoke to our southern loving hearts!  We each picked out a different style in the same pattern, but Jen's size wasn't available at the time. The moment it is though...watch out UPS for that over night order!

This blue cross sandal will definitely be in rotation all spring and summer. Throw on a fun red top or crisp white dress and we are ready for all the summer holidays. Not to mention blue just screams summer in so many ways. So we apologize now if by July you are sick of seeing these shoes on our feet. Based on cuteness and comfort factor though...not too sorry.

Okay, while we do love our Fit Flop sandals, we do have other brands that we love and are wearing this Spring. Topping the list are these comfy Tan Wedges

| Denim Jacket | Striped Top | White Distressed Jeans | Wedges | Clutch

Listen, we put these wedges on and were instantly smitten. Not only at how cute they are, but at how comfortable they are! We purchased a similar pair from Nordstrom that is super popular, and hands down these are way more comfortable. For less than half the price!

They come in a ton of fun colors for Spring too!

| Denim Jacket | Tassel Earring | White Tee | Black Jeans | Scalloped Wedges

And speaking of amazing wedges, the minute we spotted these Black Scalloped Wedges at popular shoe store's grand opening we had to have them.

The details on the wedges are amazing! From the scallops to the stitched detail - we couldn't resist. They are comfortable, lightweight, and also come in a few other colors. We found them true to size, and have our eye currently on the light blue color. Because you can never have to many wedges in your life. Or scallops.

That wraps up our favorite Spring sandals. The season is young though, and the warm summer days are long...so share with us some of your favorite options that we need all need in our closets this season!

What are some of your favorite Spring shoes?

Personalized Jewelry With A Twist: Keep Collective

When we were at the Power of Breath Luncheon we were introduced to a new jewelry line that we instantly fell in love with!

Keep Collective is under the Stella and Dot umbrella and their stuff is SO cute.  We were both shocked that we'd never heard of it before and immediately feel in love with the concept and all of their pieces.

Keep Collective is personalized jewelry that tells a story and is super meaningful while still being very stylish.  There are so many different options, but we love the leather wrap bracelets that you can add charms to and also love that many of them can be engraved with just about anything you want to tell your story!

I (Carrie Beth) picked a baseball themed one and then got a few other bracelets of theirs to complete the stack.

I (Jen) got a special message engraved on one of the leather bands and then picked coordinating bracelets to go along with it!

We both loved this brand so much that we decided to host a little party and introduce all of our friends to it, too! We had a little party on Monday and had the best time!

It was the perfect way to spend our Monday and made getting back into the swing of things after Easter weekend much more fun!

Pretty pink plates, greenery and Chick-fil-a chicken minis...it doesn't get much better than that.

Well, maybe it does because we also had champagne and cotton candy!

Our new friend, Brandy, was so sweet to come over and share all of the spring pieces with us and our friends.

She was super helpful in sharing design ideas...

All the items that could be engraved...

And different ways to mix and match the charms!

It was so much fun to see what everyone decided to buy and all of the different ideas.

We loved this idea for Mother's Day gifts.  A blush pink quilted band with kids' or grandkids' birth dates and birthstones!

They have a design tool on their website where you can see what your items will look like before you buy and it really helps to be able to move things around and get it just the way you like! Click HERE to play around with it and design your own.  We had fun with it and are planning to order some for teachers gifts!
We also love looking at the Inspiration Gallery to see how others have put together their bracelets to get new ideas.

The possibilities are endless and it's so much fun to play around with all the different items to create something unique and special.  With Mother's Day and the end of school right around the corner love this idea for gifts or even just to spoil yourself!

We have a party open right now, so if you want to shop for something click HERE. The best part is that these items ship super quick so you will have it in time for any of those upcoming holidays and events.  If you have any questions you can email us or we can put you in contact our friend, Brandy, and she can help you out!

Fashion Fix: Willow Park Boutique {Spring Finds}

If you've been on Instagram at all over the weekend you might have seen some of gorgeous spring and summer finds from Willow Park Boutique that I tired on last week. Every time I go in they somehow seem to outdo themselves and have even more gorgeous pieces than before.

This time of year I feel like there are always tons of events taking place.  Weddings, baby showers, end of year parties, Derby parties...so many things!  I love having a few pretty dresses hanging in my closet so that I have options for all the events!  Willow Park Boutique has blown me away with their beautiful section of dresses for spring and summer.  I know they will be getting more new arrivals, but these were all SO good.

I absolutely feel in love with this dress! The one shoulder, the pleats, the pretty pink... I loved it all!  I came home with this one because I just knew if I didn't I would regret it when they sell out.  And believe me, it will sell out quick!

I also loved this pink maxi dress!  It's lined to the knees so you don't have to worry about anything showing through and the overlay at the top gives it a feminine detail.  It also comes in white, which would be awesome for brides to wear to showers or rehearsal dinners. I wore it with this amazing beaded necklace than can be looped two or three times depending on what look you are going for.

This dress just screams chic, glamorous and style.  The second I put it on I felt like some kind of Greek goddess.  The amazing thing with this is that is machine washable.  Yes, you read that correctly!  This fabulous fabric that feels like there is no way you could wash it can be washed at home!  It also comes in black, navy and hot pink which I think would be so fun for a beach trip!

This beautiful blush dress is a crochet tiered dress that is so flattering. It isn't form fitting, but really gives you great shape. It looks so classy on and just made me feel beautiful!  This would be perfect for wearing to a spring or summer wedding!

This pretty off the shoulder dress has the  most beautiful floral print. It almost looks like watercolor and is so feminine.  It's a midi length with slits up both sides.  The fabric is very lightweight so it would be great for warm weather ahead.  The off-the-shoulder part is elastic and stays put so you don't have to worry about fussing with it and it has a tie at the waist that can be pulled as tight or as loose as you would like to give the dress more shape.

This pretty tiered dress has darling flutter sleeves and functional button details.  It's a really pretty multicolored stripe in pastels.  This is one of those dresses that is easy to ear and feels so comfortable, but instantly makes you feel put together. It would be cute with flat sandals for a more casual look or can be dressed up with wedges. I love it with these pearl drop earrings!

I put this dress on and DID NOT want to take it off.  The lining literally felt like butter against my skin. SO very soft and silky. It has functional ties at at the shoulder so it can be adjusted as tight or loose as needed.  It is very loose fitting (so you don't have to worry about sucking in!) and felt breezy so would be great for hot days!  The fabric is a pretty blush with a pink floral print. I wore it with the blush beaded poppy earrings that matched perfectly!

This top was peplum perfection!  I feel like a peplum style looks good on all body types and this is one of those tops that can be worn with so many different things! I loved it with the white Spanx, but would also wear this with denim shorts for a more casual look.  I loved the multicolored stripes!  You can see the dress version of this hanging behind me!  This is one of those tops that you can just throw on and instantly look put together, even though it takes zero effort.  I wore it with their beaded lemon earrings which are SO sweet for this time of year and a fun pop of color!

The last top I tried on was the same material as the off-the-shoulder dress above. The pretty pastel floral print is so perfect for spring. This top is longer, which I love to cover the booty, and has functional ties at the shoulders. The fabric is super soft and lightweight, so perfect for hot days!
