In prep for the holiday weekend, we popped in to say hi to our friends at Findlay Rowe. We introduced you to these stylish ladies and their fabulous gift shop last month, and we just can't get enough.
We knew the ladies would have just what we needed to make sure both us and our homes are festooned with star spangled style.
First, hanging out with the ladies of Findlay Rowe is just so sweet. They instantly scooped up Baby Cute and let us shop all things red, white, and blue in peaceful content.
These burlap pillows, rustic picture frames, and gorgeous lanterns were speaking to us in a major way. We both go all out when it comes to decorating for the 4th of July and know that these will look great not only for the holiday, but for all the rest of the summer as well! We plan on keeping our star spangled decor up all summer, especially with the Olympics (Go Team USA!) just around the corner and Labor Day on the back side of that.
Festive dining is going to be a breeze with the Coton Colors "Happy Everything" line. Just a switch out of our plates and we are theme ready!
The hardest part will be picking out which plate is our favorite! We think the firecracker has our heart but you can never go wrong with an American flag!
We loved this red, white, and blue monogrammed acrylic tray. These are perfect for all those outdoor BBQs that we love. Light, easy to clean, and hard to break on hard outdoor surfaces - not to mention super cute! #monogrameverything
Once we covered our home and party decor, we couldn't resist the scent of these divine smelling Capri Blue candles that were wafting through the store. Bonus, their packaging fit our star spangled theme so it was a sign from the 4th of July gods to throw them in the mix.
Our homes have never smelled SO good! The Volcano and the Paris scents were our favorites. We might have to order a case of these because we can't go back to our home smelling any other way.
Long time readers know we when it comes to holidays, we love a good dose of theme wear. Last week Instagram friends got a good peek at what the ladies at Findlay Rowe styled for us. The Southern Tide flip flops are already our favorites so when we saw the tan ones we were more than happy to add them to our star spangled style.
The Scout Bags and those Slant Collections cups just speak to us. The ladies know us well when they see that we have a need for large bags (ahem, six kids), and larger drink cups (ahem, six kids).
And then we turned the corner and saw this amazing bag. The floppy hat, the cabana gear, the bangles, THE BAG. Insert all the heart eyes. This nautical striped Toss Designs weekender bag had us swooning. SWOONING.
For those of you that don't live in the south, southern ladies swoon over many things. Outdoorsy men, babies in monogrammed rompers, fruity margaritas, and large gorgeous hand bags. SWOONING!
A contender for swooning would also be jewelry. We love these fun Baubles & Bits bangles. They fit perfectly with our style and we love that you can stack them to create different looks.
We love to dress up, and Carrie Beth's blue tasseled shift dress she picked up from Findlay Rowe a few months ago is perfect for some of the events we have planned for the weekend. Its comfortable, cool, and can be dressed up or down depending on how fancy one decides to get with their BBQ-ing.
Though most of our Fourth of July will consist of boating, swimming, and playing outdoors - we know to keep it pretty casual. This Scout wristlet is perfect for holding our necessities and the Southern Cross tees are perfect to throw on over our swimsuits.
And let's pause for a moment to talk about our favorite hand creme.
This Sea Salt hand creme from Sweedish Dream is one of our favorite beauty favorites and we rarely leave home with out it. It is perfect for year round use, but excellent for post sun recovery on those hands.
And like most southerners, since we will be spending most of the holiday weekend outdoors, we long ago learned we have to got to protect your face and eyes. Seersucker will always hold a candle in our southern loving hearts and this hat by MudPie is a favorite. We love the big bow in the back for an extra little touch, and it coordinates perfectly to our Southern Tide gear.
And it can be monogrammed. We went with navy, but will you choose red, white or blue?
Listen, and who doesn't love when your star spangled style can also double as your shark week theme wear. :)
The Findlay Rowe ladies out did themselves when it came to pulling us together some star spangled looks for us and homes. We are so excited and can't wait to share some highlights of how we celebrate throughout the weekend.
