Fashion Fix: Homecoming Shoes From Amazon
It's HOCO season!!! Such a "fun" time for moms and daughters to search for the perfect dress, shoes and accessories. You read the sarcasm in that sentence, right? It really can be fun, but it can be stressful and frustrating, too! Trying to find the perfect dress that makes them feel confident about themselves, but that is also mom-approved isn't always the easiest. If you've gotten the dress tackled next comes shoes and jewelry. Like most teenagers, my girls are incredibly busy with school and sports, so it's hard to find time to actually go shoe shopping. Instead, I have ordered numerous pairs of shoes for my girls to try. I found some great options on Amazon Prime, so it was easy to ship back and return what didn't work. I wanted to share a little roundup of some of our favorites. Most of these have modest height heels so it's manageable for them to be able to wear all night (or at least through pictures and dinner) and are all very reasonably priced. Also, all of these come in multiple colors so if there is a style you like be sure to check out all the options!

Athletic Looks + Lulu Dupes!
Happy New Year friends! We hope everyone has had a great start to 2023! Today all the kids are back in school, so it finally feels like we know what day it is and what we are doing. We love a good break, but we also realize routine is what allows us to do all the things. Otherwise we are just floundering in our pajama pants and driving our tiny humans to the various activities they've planned for themselves.
But not today. Today they get the luxury of our pajamas and driving skills straight to all the various educational institutions the good state of Georgia has to offer.
And then we change into the much more sophisticated version of pajamas to do all the things - athleisure.

Fashion Fix {Western Boots We Love}
We've had some cooler mornings around here and I am living for it!!! I know it's sort of a tease and I've lived in the south long enough to know we still have a little bit of warm weather left, but it won't be long now until we are busting out our boots and sweaters.
Western inspired boots are trending this fall and we are seeing them EVERYWHERE! I personally love this style and you don't have to be heading to a rodeo to sport this look. They look great with dresses, skirts or denim. We've rounded up some of our favorites in all different price points to help give your fall wardrobe a fresh kick.

Neutral Sandals From Target
Last week I shared some amazing dupes as part of my Friday Favorites and I was so excited when they showed up last weekend! The braided heels look SO good that I decided to check out some other neutral sandals from Target. I love to get a few new neutral sandals for spring and summer each year. They are great for everyday wear and also to pack for vacation because they match everything from swimsuits to denim shorts to sundresses.
My Target was pretty limited in-store, but when I checked online I was VERY impressed with the selection. There were lots of great options and I ordered a few more pairs to be prepared for spring and summer. If there is one thing I have learned from my experience with Target is that the good things don't last long. If you see something you like it is much better to order now and return later if you change your mind.
My favorite nine neutral sandals from Target!
Left - Right and Top - Bottom.
1. Mulit-Strap Sandal ($14.99)
2. Padded Knot Slide Sandals ($24.99)
3. Two Band Studded Sandals ($24.99)
4. Platform Wedge Heels ($39.99)
5. Platfrom Footbed Sandals ($24.99)
7. Stud Embellished Slide Sandals ($24.99)
9. Woven Slide Sandals ($24.99)

Fashion Fix: Fall Dresses We Love
We've got Fall on the brain since back-to-school season is in full swing. We know it is still going to be hot here, so we've been looking at some fun transitional dress options. We love when we can throw on a cozy sweater and some boots, or grab some cute sandals and some cute jewelry, but still look "Fall" no matter what the weather here in the South might hold.
Looking at some of our favorite retailers, it seems that puff sleeves, floral patterns, and smocked bodices are reigning strong. Tie dye is still holding in there, with a fun casual twist (just throw on your favorite pair of sneakers).
Thankfully a more form fitting update to the peasant dresses we saw in the Spring are making an appearance. So a little less Oregon Trail and a little more chic.
Here's a look at some of our favorite dresses we've spotted for the Fall. We've linked up all the options you see (and a few extras at some retailers).
Which style of dress are you most excited about this Fall?

Fashion Fix {Our Favorite Becca Swimsuits}
Jen is on vacation this week and we will be on vacation next week! Our trip is something we rescheduled from last year and I cannot wait! We're pretty much going to be living in swimsuits so I knew I wanted to grab another one or two for our trip. I usually have a lot of luck at Target for less expensive suits, but if I want something that is going to last and make me feel like a million bucks, I always turn to Becca swimsuits. Jen and I both own several of hers and love them! The cut, style, lace details and coverage are perfect on her suits. They are all super sophisticated looking to me and really help you feel confident in a swimsuit, which isn't an easy thing to do. Plus, every time I wear one of them I get compliments!
I've only ever tried her one piece suits so this year I ordered two bikinis to try. They are going to show up right before my trip so I'm keeping my fingers crossed they will fit! In all of my online shopping I found some REALLY adorable styles I thought I would share because I had such a hard time narrowing it down. These are not cheap and y'all should know by now that I am ALWAYS a bargain shopper. However, in my opinion this is one of those things that are just worth the cost.

Fashion Fix {Summer Sundresses}
It has been SO hot here recently, to the point that I feel like wearing nothing but workout clothes or a swimsuit. However, it does feel nice to get dressed in "normal" clothes every now and then and my go-to for hot summer days is a sundress because it just feels so much cooler than wearing shorts. I thought I'd share some of my favorites with you all today! Most are very affordable, all are very comfortable, and a lot of them come in different patterns and colors, too!

Swim Cover-Ups Under $25
Okay friends, it's that time of year again - swimsuit season. Each year we approach this season with both trepidation (the swimsuit trying on experience) and excitement (the freedom that is SUMMER!). This is the South and swimsuits are a form of formal party attire once it gets above 90 degrees. So, we embrace our swimsuit bodies and all the fun accessories that we can politely get away with. This includes having an array of cover-ups.
On our girls day out a few weeks ago we realized we both needed an update in the cover-up department. Don't get us wrong, we have a lot of cover-ups, but between roughly six months of beach, boat, pool, repeat - they get their wear and tear.
Because of that we like to not spend a ton of money on them. We both found a TON of great options under $25! A few of the ones we ordered have already started arriving and since be both have had warm weather vacations over the last few weeks, we've been able to give the thumbs up or thumbs down to quite a few.
Here's a peek at some of our current favorites...

Target Spring Fashion Finds
The weather in Atlanta was BEAUTIFUL last week. Warm, sunny, and such a tease of what's to come this spring. This week is back to cold and rainy here, but I know spring days will be here to stay before we know it. I love this time of year when everything is blooming and you can dress in colorful clothing daily!
I found some super cute spring fashion finds at Target and was able to wear every single one of them last week while the warm weather lasted. I wanted to share my finds with all of you because most of these are under $20! I love solid dresses for spring because they can be dressed up with jewelry and cute sandals or dressed down with sneakers or flip-flops. Plus they look cute with a denim jacket for cool mornings and evenings, but you can shed the jacket in the afternoon when it's hot. It's like the perfect outfit for this time of year so a lot of what I'm sharing are dresses! I'm also going to share a few cute tops because, like the dresses, they can be so versatile. I love white denim this time of year with a bright and colorful or a pretty pastel top, but those can also be worn into summer with denim cut-off shorts.
All items linked below (left to right, top to bottom) and all of these come in multiple colors.
1. Sleeveless Drop Waist Dress ($15) - My store didn't have my size in this one, but I love the silhouette and the deep V neckline!
2. Sleeveless Babydoll Dress ($15) - This is another one that I love the shape of and I feel like it is flattering on all body types.
3. Knit Tank Dress ($10) - This one is about as basic as it gets, but simple and cute to thrown on all spring and summer long.
4. V-Neck Tee ($8) - These are my very favorite basic v-neck tees. Come in a ton of colors and super soft!
5. Lace Flutter Sleeve Tank ($15) - This is from Target's Knox Rose line, which I love. Their pieces often have a little more boho feel to them. I loved the flutter sleeve detail on this and fabric is SO soft. I'll be wearing this with white denim this spring and with shorts all summer long!
6. Long Sleeve Linen Tee ($15) - I fell in love with this pretty pastel and the lightweight linen makes it perfect for coolers days. This is another one I will wear with pants now and shorts as it starts to warm up because of the lightweight fabric. It is see-through so I wore a solid tank under it.
7. Ruffle Sleeveless Tiered Dress ($35) - My friend actually told me about how amazing this dress was so I had to check it out. I don't usually like the midi-length dresses on me, but loved this one! It is so comfortable and doesn't need to be ironed after washing, which is another bonus in my book.
8. Tiered Tank Dress ($20) - My store was out of this one, but I plan to order and wear it as a swim cover up. I have one from Target that is super old, but it is always one of my go-to coverups!
9. Short Sleeved Babydoll Dress ($25) - This dress is comfortable with a capital C! It is called a sweatshirt dress online, but it's more of a terrycloth material on the inside so it is really soft and would also make a great swim cover up. Just easy to throw on and feel put together, but really casual and cute. I also love the pretty blue and fuchsia color it comes in.
