Friday Favorites

I don't know if I've been this happy to see a Friday in a long time.  My kids had early release all week because it is conference week at our schools, so you would think that would make it an easy week.  Well it has been the opposite of an easy week. I don't know if it is because our routine and schedule has been different all week or what, but Monday though Thursday have kicked my booty. Today we are celebrating Friday though and looking forward to a great weekend ahead.  We've got multiple sports games for the kids, a few practices in there, a fun outing for Blondie and hopefully some sleep!

Today we're linking up with some of our favorite bloggers and sharing my Friday Favorites for the week.

First up though, we'd like to announce the winner of our Krusteaz giveaway!

Congratulations to Marilyn Nawara!!!  All sorts of pumpkin spice goodness coming your way.  Just email us (themagnoliamamas@gmail.com) with your shipping info and we'll have it sent to you.

This week finally feels like fall in the south and we couldn't be more excited about the cooler temps!  Besides busting out the boots and sweaters, the food this time of year is a real treat.  Last year I made what I'm calling the best ever pumpkin bread recipe that I got from a friend.  I bought all of the ingredients to make it this weekend and I'm so excited because it is my favorite breakfast this time of year. I toast it and put a little butter on it and oh my goodness...so good!

Part of what is keeping me crazy this week is keeping up with my house. I feel like I'm so behind and can't seem to catch up with things.  Three kids and a dog just keep it in a constant state of mess.  I saw this online and laughed.  Might be my favorite little image of all time.  So funny and so true!

Our school system sent out these little flyers this week and although I haven't gotten one sent home yet a lot of my friends did and I got several texts about it.  See that sweet smiling girl holding up her STEM project?  That's my girl!  Funny that they used a 5th grade class on the 3rd grade flyer, but her excitement and happiness that was captured in this photo is my favorite!  And how fun that it was used for a county-wide publication?!

While I have one girl that is super girly I have another that is totally sporty.  When Jill Yoga asked if I was interested some stuff for her, I couldn't say yes fast enough!  Blondie loves sports, especially soccer, and is all about wearing comfy clothes all the time because she always wants to be ready to run, play and practice.

The joggers are super soft and easy to move in, plus, they have pockets which she loved.

And because I practically live in my workout attire she loves being like me. When she saw that this top had the little cut out for her thumbs she was all about it.

She says it is her new favorite outfit and was so happy it was cooler this week so she could wear it to school.   I love seeing her happy smiling face feeling confident in what she is wearing so it is my favorite, too!

I'm definitely thinking some more Jill Yoga's activewear will be under the Christmas tree for this girl!

I mentioned that it's really cooled off this week and finally feels like fall.  So much so that we've needed jackets and sweatshirts.  It was perfect timing because our friend, Kathryn, and Feathered Nest Boutique has just sent some adorable monogrammed sweatshirts and I was dying to wear mine!

They are SO cozy and comfortable!  I'm going to be living in mine all fall and winter long and I feel like these would make amazing Christmas gifts also.  I have a few people on my list I plan to order some for.  :-)

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!  See you back here next week. :-)
