Friday Favorites

Happy Friday Friends!  We love every Friday, but a Friday leading into a week off of school?  Well, we love those even more! We've both got some fun things planned for the week and one of those would include sleeping.  I (Carrie Beth) am going on a fun family trip this week so be sure to follow along on Instagram to see all of our adventures. Today we're linking up with some of our favorite bloggers to share our Friday Favorites. This post is going up way later than originally planned, but when you have to pack for multiple people for 10 days, well that is just a big time commitment.

My kids got so much Halloween candy and I just need it gone!  One thing I did with all of the candy was create a Snickers Salted Caramel Cheesecake to use up some of the candy.

It turned out just about as good as it sounds!  My family couldn't get enough and it is definitely one of our new favorites.  Crazy thing is that I made it with one of the new Cheesecake Factory At Home Mixes and it was SO simple to create. They have several different flavors (see them all here) and I can't wait to come up with some other recipes using more of the candy!

My favorite 5th grader won 1st place overall for her Science Fair project this week!  She tested different cups to see which kept drinks coldest the longest and we were so proud of all her hard work!

OK, I can't have a Friday Favorites post and not include a little bit about Taylor Swift's new album

The girls and I are HUGE Taylor fans and couldn't wait for her new album to be released.  Has anyone heard it?  Anyone else as obsessed as we are?  I have literally had it on repeat since last week.  My favorites are Getaway Car and This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things, but really the entire album is great.

We went to hear last concert that was in Atlanta and had so much fun!  It was the girls' first concert and such a special night for them.

Her newest tour dates were just announced this week and you can sign up HERE to get early access to the pre-sale before tickets go on sale to the public.  Just by signing up you'll gain access and you can boost your place in the virtual line by completing different tasks on the website!

It's really rare for me to be able to have a girls night just because we've been SO busy recently, but last week Jen and I met up with some of our favorite friends to see A Bad Moms Christmas.  It was so much fun to catch up with girlfriends and laugh all night long.

Jen and I both showed up in the same shirt we had bought together at Loft the week before.  They didn't look the same since she got white and I got the print, but still we thought it was pretty funny!

Last, but not least this week, one of my favorite moments was spending the morning at the Kindergarten Thanksgiving Feast!  I got to make the paper bag turkey filled with popcorn that gets carved for the kids and little turkey legs filled with popcorn that each of the kids gets as part of their feast!

It was such a fun morning and I love those special memories with my kids!
