The BEST Golden Goose Dupes

Today's post has been a collection of months of my internet searching. I've mentioned this before, but I REALLY want a pair of Golden Goose sneakers.  I am currently obsessing over THESE with the cute gingham star.  Wouldn't they be perfect for spring?!

As much as I love them and know I would wear the heck out of them, it just isn't going to happen. The price is just WAY too steep for me, so unless I can find a pair on major sale, I am going to have to settle for a dupe. The good news is there are a LOT of great dupes out there and so many cute styles, colors and patterns that you don't have to spend a crazy amount to get the same look.
I bought THESE from Amazon just to sort of test the waters and see how much I would actually wear them.  The answer is, I wear them a ton! I feel like I can wear them with casual outfits and it looks a little more put together than wearing a running shoe.  To me they are the shoe that describes my style perfectly...casual, but just a little bit fancy.

I've been on the hunt for another great dupe and have the very BEST ones to share with y'all today.  So many of these options come in different colors and patterns.  The prices range anywhere from around $30 - $130 depending on the brand and now my only problem is deciding which ones to order because I really love them all!

1. Pink Pink  ($115) - I would LOVE this pink pair for spring and summer. THESE are cute too!

2. Neon Yellow/Snake Skin ($132) - I have seen these in person and they look really good.  They have the worn/scuffed look just like Golden Goose and the colors are really fun.

3. Glitter Star ($50) - Love the glittery look of these! These are fun too!

4. Leopard Star ($85) - These are maybe the best dupe for the price that I have seen. They already have the worn look Golden Goose is known for and come in several different colors.

5. Animal Print ($150) - When I saw these I did a double take. I love the animal print, the blue laces and just feel like these are different in a really good way. (Note - these have very limited sizes left. Another great option is this pair.)

6. Metallic Gold ($35)  - Comes in a bunch of different metallic and glitter options.

7. Multi-Color Snakeskin with Star Studs ($145) - Not sure what it is about theses, but I love them!  I like the high-top option and feel like this is something JEM and the Holograms would wear. (Note - these have very limited sizes left. We like THIS PAIR too!)

8. Glitter High-Tops ($68) - These have amazing reviews and have the patch on the tongue and the scuffed/worn marks just like the real deal. (If you are willing to go a little pricier THIS PAIR is a cute option too!)

9. Zebra Print ($105) - I thought these were fun for people who like color and patterns.  (Note - these have very limited sizes left. THESE PAIRS are fun too!)

Friday Favorites: Favorite Spring Shoes

Happy Friday friends! We are so excited that Friday has decided to come around again. Even more excited because this time around it looks like even though today has some raindrops, the rest of the weekend outlook looks amazing!

A sunny, warm weekend...we almost won't know what to do with ourselves. Our southern souls are rejoicing...and so are our feet.

Today we are switching up our Friday Favorites a bit. We wanted to stay on one topic, and share our favs from that. Because when it comes to the topic of shoes...well, they deserve a post all on their own.

Especially when they are this good.

| Tan Double Buckle | Rose Gold Sneakers | Hot Pink Sandals | Green Gold Scallop Sandals | Gold Feather Sandals | Tan Wedges | Black Patent Sandals | Grey Rope Wedges

This is the South, and we've quite the collection of sandals and flip flops in our closet. But we've culled our list down to our absolute favorites for this Spring and Summer.

| Dress | Clutch | Sandals

Okay, last summer we were introduced to the FitFlop Brand and were SO impressed. I chose a pair of the Feather Sandals on a whim and the moment I put them on my feet I knew it would be a go to sandal for the rest of the summer. This year I wanted to add a few more pairs into rotation and this fun hot pink pair topped the wish list.

| Tee | Denim Shorts | Clutch | Sandals
These hot pink sandals are just the pop of color I was looking to add this Spring to liven up some of my favorite basics. You can never go wrong with a comfortable classic white tee shirt and a good pair of denim shorts. Add a fun accessory or two to these closet staples, and it looks way "fancier" than it really is.
| Tee | Denim Shorts | Clutch | Sandals
This is pretty much the uniform you will see on either one of us from now until we are forced to wear our winter coats again. So why not have a fun little pop of pink to throw in the mix? Not to mention a super budget friendly option. This style sandal actually comes in a ton of colors and is under $40!

| Tee | White Jeans | Scalloped Sandals | Cross Body Bag |
As we were scrolling online these Scalloped Sandals caught our eye immediately. We are huge fans of anything gold, and loved the unique detail these sandals had to incorporate it. Love the fun twist on a classic style of sandal.

They look even better in person! We were a little nervous the toe loop would be a little uncomfortable, but true to form these scalloped sandals are like every other FitFlop pair we've worn - amazing

Just like the above sandals from the same brand, these Tan Double Buckle Sandals are stylish, yet comfortable. With a capital C. You feel like you're walking on a cloud!

| Dress | Sandals | Jewelry (use code MAGNOLIA for 25% off!) | Clutch (similar) |

We've worn them all day long and never once felt like our feet were tired or sore. Or really even knew our feet were there at all. They are that good.

| Striped Top | Jeans | Jewelry | Sandal

This blue cross sandal is one that we both swooned over from the moment we laid eyes on it. The blue and white pattern just spoke to our southern loving hearts!  We each picked out a different style in the same pattern, but Jen's size wasn't available at the time. The moment it is though...watch out UPS for that over night order!

This blue cross sandal will definitely be in rotation all spring and summer. Throw on a fun red top or crisp white dress and we are ready for all the summer holidays. Not to mention blue just screams summer in so many ways. So we apologize now if by July you are sick of seeing these shoes on our feet. Based on cuteness and comfort factor though...not too sorry.

Okay, while we do love our Fit Flop sandals, we do have other brands that we love and are wearing this Spring. Topping the list are these comfy Tan Wedges

| Denim Jacket | Striped Top | White Distressed Jeans | Wedges | Clutch

Listen, we put these wedges on and were instantly smitten. Not only at how cute they are, but at how comfortable they are! We purchased a similar pair from Nordstrom that is super popular, and hands down these are way more comfortable. For less than half the price!

They come in a ton of fun colors for Spring too!

| Denim Jacket | Tassel Earring | White Tee | Black Jeans | Scalloped Wedges

And speaking of amazing wedges, the minute we spotted these Black Scalloped Wedges at popular shoe store's grand opening we had to have them.

The details on the wedges are amazing! From the scallops to the stitched detail - we couldn't resist. They are comfortable, lightweight, and also come in a few other colors. We found them true to size, and have our eye currently on the light blue color. Because you can never have to many wedges in your life. Or scallops.

That wraps up our favorite Spring sandals. The season is young though, and the warm summer days are long...so share with us some of your favorite options that we need all need in our closets this season!

What are some of your favorite Spring shoes?

Fashion Fix: Ways to Wear Over-the-Knee Boots + BIG SALE ALERT

Happy Friday, Friends!!!  Today's blog topic is all about over-the-knee boots. Now, before you skip over this post and think over-the-knee boots aren't for you, just hear me out.  I used to think this was a  trend that I could never get into. I thought it was more for the millennials rather than the moms and that over-the-knee boots would be way too cutting edge a bit to daring for my usual mom uniform. However, after I looked into them a bit more I found tons of fun ways to style them.  When our friends at FitFlop asked if we wanted to try a pair I decided to give them a chance and surprisingly, I really love them!  They make your legs look like they go on for days, they are really quite comfortable and they can turn an ordinary outfit into a WOW outfit.  I'm going to share a few different ways to wear over-the-knee boots and be sure to read to the bottom of this post for a BIG SALE ALERT from FitFlop.

Look #1 - With My Mom Uniform
Like most moms, I love wearing leggings, a tunic, and an long cardigan.  Some days I wear it with running shoes, some days with regular boots, but to dress it up just a bit and make everything look a little more pulled together, over-the-knee boots are a perfect option.

Plus, the great thing about these boots is that they are super comfortable and stretchy so great for being on the run all day.

Look #2 - With Jeans
If I'm not wearing leggings I'm almost always in denim.  I love jeans and I love any kind of plaid this time of year so I knew I wanted to style my boots with two of my favorites.

So cute, right?!  Well this top was an amazing clearance find for $4 at T.J. Maxx and I couldn't love it more paired with these boots!

Volunteering at the school, meeting a friend for lunch or even during a busy weekend, this outfit will be on repeat!

Look #3 - Dressed up with Faux Fur
I'm pretty obsessed with the faux fur trend right now and love any chance I get to wear my vest.

I'm on the hunt for a longer one, but for now I was so pumped when I saw that these boots matched my faux fur vest perfectly.  Something about over-the-knee boots and fur that just goes together, right?! Girls night, date night or any evening time event would be perfect for this look.

Look #4 - Dressed Up for a Night on the Town
With the holidays right around the corner I know everyone has tons of parties, events and get togethers on their calendars.  I love any excuse to wear leather and sparkles and these over-the-knee boots are great for outfits like this, too.  I just love that they are so versatile and I know I'm going to be able to wear them for so many different occasions.

Now to the exciting part...a BIG sale!  Our friends at FitFlop are having a really BIG sale happening right now and over 100 styles are up to 60% off.  We are big FitFlop fans because we like to look cute and be comfortable and that is exactly what these shoes do.

When I'm not wearing my over-the-knee boots I'm most likely wearing these that some of you may remember from our giveaway not too long ago!

I can't tell you how many people have commented and asked me about these shoes

They are SO comfortable, so cute and I wear them a ton! They are also part of the sale and are 40% off so it is a great time to grab them!  We've been searching their website and found a lot of fall favorites...especially loving the metallic, blush, and knit athletic shoes!

If we love their boots and fall shoes then we REALLY love their sandals.

I'm super picky on the type of sandals I can wear because my feet hurt so bad if I wear ones with no support. The FitFlop sandals quickly became my favorite this summer.

These Feather Tia sandals are 50% off right now!

I wore mine all summer long!

And my other favorites are these Tia Sandals

They also come in a ton of different colors including this snake skin option that is on major sale.
I feel like snake skin is like leopard....a neutral that you can wear with just about anything!

I know the weather is cold and no one is thinking about summer shoes right now, but if you like to plan ahead like me, then now is the time to buy!  Especially if you have a cruise, tropical vacation, or are heading anywhere warm over the holidays!

Be sure to stay tuned because we have some other fun styles from FitFlop that we will be sharing in the next few weeks...including some for the guys in your life, too!

We hope everyone has a great weekend!

Best Spring & Summer Shoes for Tween Girls

As much as I hate to admit it, I have two girls approaching the "Tween" phase of life.  One is full on tween and the other acts like she is 7 going on 17, so I might as well lump her into that category, too.

We agree on most clothing and for the most part they still like have my input and suggestions on what they should wear.  That isn't always the case, but I am thankful that we have come to some great compromises.  One thing that is hard as they are getting a little older, especially Little Mama, is shoes! Her foot is growing so fast and it's gotten so big that she is almost out of kid sized shoes. Makes this mama sad, but it's hard to find appropriate looking shoes.

A while back we had a neighbor pass along some hand-me-down shoes and she was SO excited about some wedge sandals that were in the bag.  Well little miss Blondie said she wanted some, too.  I have never let them wear them before, but I decided they would be fine for church and special occasions so we have entered that phase.  They LOVE their wedges and call them "high heels" which I think is just the cutest thing ever.

It got me thinking about some of the other shoes they like to wear or have on their wish lists for next fall. For today though, I thought I'd share some of our favorite spring and summer shoes for tweens.

Keens
I started buying Keens for my kids years ago and I always get them for the girls each year.  They are waterproof and hold up so great.  When it starts to get warm they hate wearing socks and tennis shoes so Keens are the perfect alternative. And, for our school that is picky about shoes, these are cuter with dresses than sneakers.

They are great for when the kids need to have good, steady shoes on for playing outside, riding their bikes, and wearing to school for PE days, etc. There are so many fun colors and patterns!

TOMS
Another brand we love are TOMS!  They are fun to just slip on and go. I find the sizing to sort of be all over the place and not always true to size, but once you find a pair that fit, they are so comfy!  They are super cute with shorts, jeans or capris and even dresses for school.  Last week Jen sent me a text to tell me about the new partnership TOMS is doing with Oceana to help give back to save marine life like sea turtles.  Sea turtles are Little Mama's VERY favorite animals.  She is obsessed with them, did her school research project about sea turtles, collects sea turtle things, etc.  I hopped online and ordered them right away.

I have put them away in a closet until her birthday in a few months, but I can't wait to see her reaction when she opens them!  Here is the whole collection...they have something for everyone and they are so fun for summer.

Wedge Sandals
As I mentioned above, this is the first year I'm letting my girls wear wedges sandals, but they are definitely their favorite pair of shoes.  They feel so grown up and big wearing them.  If you are like me an just entering the world of wedges with your girls, I think the key is to find some that are low wedges (so they don't fall and twist an ankle) and to just set parameters ahead of time. I told my girls they were not to wear to school and they couldn't wear them when playing outside, etc.  They are for special occasions like going out to dinner, going to a birthday party, church, etc.  I got neutral colors (gold or silver) so that they can match all of their spring and summer clothes.  Here are a few other options I thought were really cute!

Ballet Flats
Another shoe my girls love wearing and one that I totally can agree upon are sweet ballet flats.  They love the sparkle and details that can come with it, but it's still a practical shoe, in my opinions.  They instantly feel dressed up a bit when they put them on and they look super cute, too!

Flip-Flops
What would summer be without flip fops!  We love flip flops around here and although they can't wear them to school, they are perfect for when we are rushing out the door quick, for the pool and of course the beach!  We love Yellow Box and also Corky's, but I always find cute ones at Old Navy, Target and Wal-Mart, too.

Silver Sandals
Last, but not least, sandals are a must have for spring and summer.  My girls wear them on the weekends for now because they can't wear them to school, but come summer they will be a regular part of their wardrobe. I usually get them each a pair of silver sandals because I feel like they can match anything and it's perfect for when we are traveling because packing one pair is so much easier than worrying about shoes to match all of their outfits!

Plus, with silver or another metallic, the sandals will usually have some sort of jewels or beads or something to dress them up a bit and add just enough sparkle to make my girls love them.

Back-to-School Style with Rack Room Shoes

We all know that back-to-school shopping can become a little daunting with the endless amount of supplies, purchases and paperwork necessary to kick off the year prepared and well organized. Some of these tasks I find completely absurd (Can we not have a checkbox that says "same as last year" on the 85 pages of paperwork???), and some I find fun.

Shoe shopping might be a headache for some, but I have found a little slice of shoe shopping heaven that every mom can appreciate, and the best part - great savings! Less money spent means more left over for  more shoes! (Or a fabulous new back-to-school bag for yourself. Just saying.)

Check out our guest post on Savvy Sassy Moms as we share our favorite shoe hot spot - Rack Room Shoes - and what we picked for our back-to-school style this fall.

What shoes are on your child's list this year?

Savvy Sassy Sunday: Tieks - Ballet Flats That Are On Point

Happy Sunday everyone! We hope everyone has had a great weekend! Today I have to share with you my new found love - Tieks. If there is one thing this girl loves, it's some shoes.

I used to be the girl that wore high heels all the time. I would have worn them to the gym if it was socially acceptable, and probably could have run a 40 in them just as fast as I could have in flats. I even wore heels through most of my first pregnancy, and then...wham! The infamous pregnancy swollen feet hit me, and my heels were retired.  If that didn't seal my high heel collection's fate, then chasing a very busy toddler nine months later made me realize I needed all available resources on hand to keep up, and four inch heels did not fit that bill.

Just because I became a mom, and packed away all my heels for special occasions only, does not mean my love for shoes became packed away as well. Flip flops and flats now happily adorn my feet, and I am pretty sure now that they have regained feeling after all those years they are rejoicing.

I have had my eye on Tieks for awhile, and when our friends sent a gift card, I was ecstatic. I had heard such good things about them, and have always admired the adorable colors they come in. First I browsed the website for hours. The color and pattern options are endless, and I just couldn't decide! I asked everyone's opinion on Instagram, and the more people responded the more I wanted them all!

The top favorites seemed to be the leopard, rose gold, mint and hot pink. All seemed like awesome options. I was torn between the hot pink, and the coral, and the clover.

I mean how cute and fun are these colors?
The clover would have matched a ton of my current wardrobe and I could see where they would be fun at Christmas, St. Patrick's Day, etc. (you know me and my love for theme wear).

But just as I was about to click purchase from my cart, I did a complete impulse decision and ordered the cobalt. Let me just say the moment I opened the package, and put them on my feet, I knew I had made the right decision.

The cobalt are so fun!

Please excuse the awkward leg position! I promise I don't have one grotesquely larger knee. :)

The cobalt coordinates with so much of my closet, and I love how bright and cheery they are.

And lets talk comfort. Oh my they are the softest most comfortable ballet flats ever. Seriously! I even wore them on vacation last week, and those of you who know the Atlanta airport know that the International terminal is not for the weak. You need good walking shoes to get through the good old ATL, and the Tieks did not disappoint.

I was even more thankful for their buttery soft comfort as my feet took a serious beating on vacation. The bottom of one of the pools was a little rough and it just so happened to be The Cutes favorite stomping grounds for 7 days, and then I also had an unfortunate waterslide incident. Needless to say comfort was key by the end of the trip. Because again, I had to face that International terminal one more time.

If you are in the market for some new flats, or just want a little pop of color in your life, treat your feet to the fabulousness that are Tieks. I highly recommend them, and can't wait until I order another pair.

Now off to find the most perfect red and white outfit because hello perfect Forth of July theme wear. ;)

Are you a Tieks fan, or wish to try them? What color would you choose?
