This week was so much fun the fact that it's now the weekend again is just the icing on the summer cake. We've mentioned we love summer before right? If not...WE LOVE SUMMER!
This week just made it feel like summer. We weren't on vacation or at the beach, but it was filled with so much summer activity goodness. At some point I sat back and literally sighed and said to Mr. Cute, "Ahh....This is summer."
Throw in my favorite holiday and it was pretty much the best week ever.
I've had a ton of moments that will be a forever be a favorite, and we've stumbled upon a few new fun finds. Linking up like always to share our Friday Favorites.
The weather lately has been finicky so last Friday we nixed our plans for the pool and made our way to the bowling alley. We had signed up for the Kids Bowl Free program earlier in the summer, so I thought it was finally time to take advantage of it.
But such a fun and easy FREE outing with the kids!
B.C. has never bowled before, and I wasn't sure how she would do, but all of the kids loved it!
And shockingly the baby won in the end! I sent this picture to Mr. Cute, and was dying laughing. Beginner's luck didn't impress her two older siblings.

And it isn't summer unless you go to the movies at least once, right?
We made our way to our local movie theater to see Incredibles 2. It was B.C.'s first movie in a movie theater and we were also excited to see the sequel! Getting to see her excitement over the small things about the experience will always be a favorite.
Her siblings sat riveted through the entire movie, but my busy baby made it through a bucket of popcorn and approximately 45 mins. From there we wandered in and out.
Those who sat through it informed me it was funny and worth the hype. Definitely one to put on your radar if you haven't seen it yet.
From there we let the 4th of July celebrations begin. From as early as I can remember 4th of July has always been my favorite holiday. I just love it!
And all it's theme wear!
We packed our bags and headed with Carrie Beth's family to the lake for a few days. Nothing excites us more than when we can all get together and have one big slumber party. We did everything a good 4th of July should be...we attended a golf cart parade, boated, grilled out, sparkled, and decked our selves out in as much red, white, and blue as possible.
It was such a fun time and we already can't wait to do it again next year!

After we said our goodbyes to Carrie Beth's family, we said hello to some of our other friends! Yesterday Mr. Cute's best friend and his family came into town to stay the night before making their way back to Virginia this morning.
In the short time we were together we had a TON of fun. I got to hang out with this girl....
I love me some Brittany! She's made an appearance or two on our blog before, and writes her own amazing blog - The Anchored Kitchen. She is such a fun lady and I wish she lived closer!
Our kids have a blast playing together! And it's so fun to see mini versions of our husbands running around being friends too!
And obviously our husbands had a little fun too. We all picked up right where we left off and already can't wait for our next visit.
And it wouldn't be a complete Friday Favorites if I didn't leave you with at least one fun little fashion find. Carrie Beth and I got these flip flops before we went to the lake and they are SO comfortable!
I ordered the Duos Sandal in Lush and Carrie Beth ordered the Lily in Metallic Silver.
They come in a ton of colors and styles and I'm already thinking about grabbing another pair before we head out on our trip in a few weeks. We'll be doing a lot of walking but I still want to look cute and put together for where we are going and I know these will be perfect!
That wraps up my favorites for the week! I just never want summer to end!
What were some of your favorite moments this week?
