Boozy Bunny Cocktail Recipe

I feel like the minute spring thoughts pop into people's heads, these little marshmallow Peeps emerge from hibernation. I'm not the biggest fan, but it wouldn't be Easter without a Peep or to making an appearance in some sort of fashion. I'm more of a giant Reese's Bunny sort of girl. But this year we're diving in tastebuds first to get on board the Peep train.  But in a much yummier way of course. 

While we don't overly enjoy eating these sugary confections solo, we couldn't quite pass up the challenge to incorporate them some how into a recipe. 

And well...you know our cooking skills.

But cocktails? We know how to mix a good drink. 

Or at least we're willing to take one for the team, and see it as our blogger duty to mix up some drinks and be the official taste testers. 

The results after an afternoon of "research" was this delicious little cocktail - The Boozy Bunny. It's marshmallow-y goodness and spring all rolled into one chilled glass.

Host a Mom-mosa Bar

A few years ago we used to joke that Spring and Summer were really "shower season". It seemed like every weekend was filled with bridal showers or baby showers. Now that we've gotten a little - ahem - older, our weekends are still filled, but with a different events sprinkled in. PTA lunches, brunches, or sports mom getaways - these months out of the year still are still jam packed with events.

No matter what event life throws our way, there is one thing that has remained constant over time - we love hosting! We think it is so fun to fill our home with guests. To mingle, chat, and make memories makes us happy. We know hosting can be a lot of work, and we've found a few tried and true tricks and recipes that transition well across any event. 

Mimosas being one of them. We love a good mimosa recipe, but have recognize that different guests have different tastes. So, we came up with the idea of creating a mimosa bar, but with a fun twist. With a MOM-mosa bar we take our spread to the next level. Because if there's anything we know about moms, they know how to cocktail.

Cocktail Confessions: Apple Cider Mimosas

Happy Monday friends! What else to make your Monday better than a yummy little cocktail recipe? 

Ever since we did a little Fall frolicking at our favorite apple orchard, we've had apples on the brain. And in our bellies. 

We've pretty much have been consuming them 24/7 since our return. Someone might have gone a little apple crazy in the baked goods section of the store. 

And apples were totally the inspiration for our latest little cocktail - the Apple Cider Mimosa!

The Apple Cider Mimosas are so so yummy! And super easy to make! They only take a few ingredients and are like putting a little taste of fall right in your mouth. 

With all the fun fall holidays coming up, and tons of entertaining scheduled on the calendar, we know we will be whipping out this easy recipe repeatedly. 

From brunches to Thanksgiving dinner to maybe even a little pre-trick-or-treating happy hour, Apple Cider Mimosas are the perfect little crowd pleasing drink.
