Firework Friendly Snacks

It's 4th of July week and I am beyond excited. I love everything about the Fourth. From the star spangled attire to the red, white and blue themed food to all things fireworks. It's just a fun happy holiday!

This is the first year in awhile we don't have any major plans, but we are still celebrating. We plan on taking the boat out on the lake wearing our favorite stars and stripes swim suits (yes, we own a few!), and enjoying the freedom we've been given to do so.

It's just such a happy holiday. Planning any sort of celebration is pretty easy because the theme is all laid out for you, and being smack dab in the middle of Summer makes it open to any number of enjoyable outdoor activities. Unless your husband is the one who decides to buy the "big" fireworks that year its pretty low key in terms of stress.

The fireworks are hands down my favorite part. I've loved them since I was a kid, and feel like we should set them off for every holiday. I used sparklers at my wedding, sparklers at our gender reveal, and have informed my husband that if I go first I would like sparklers present at the scattering of my ashes. They are just plain fun - no matter what age you are.

And what goes better with a good sparkler and firework show than a festive treat? We've rounded up some of our favorite Firework Friendly Snacks on Savvy Sassy Moms

These are the snacks that are easy to make, easy to eat, and don't make a huge mess. No one wants to look away from all those pretty displays of lights to clean up tiny messy ice cream pants.

So make the hop, make the snacks, and enjoy the show!

And if you want a few more Fourth friendly food ideas, here are some of our favorite red, white, and blue confections from the past:
