4th of July Fun

The 4th of July is just a little over a week away and it is probably one of our favorite holidays!  It's no secret we love dressing our kids in holiday theme wear and this holiday ranks right up there.  I mean, just look at my babies from years ago!

Two years ago we were all at the beach together for the 4th of July and it was a super fun trip.  That might have even been the year the idea for this blog came about...

We ordered room service for dinner and then got the kids all decked out for fireworks on the beach.

This year our plans are still a little up in the air, but one thing is for sure...our kids will be sporting their stars and stripes and we'll be cooling off with some sort of water fun and ice cream!

In fact, we'll likely be swimming somewhere and these sweet little blonde girls (who both happen to be the middle child and who also happen to have very similar personalities) will be wearing their red, white, and blue as they splash around.

Later that night we are sure to see some fireworks of some sort and maybe throw in some sparklers, too!  (All the while our dogs will probably be scared to death of the fireworks!)

You better bet our crew will be sporting their patriotic pride!

And we'll be cooling off with star spangled ice cream sandwiches.  Nothing could be easier to create or yummier to eat!

We loved creating a post for Savvy Sassy Moms feature The Children's Place Americana line and sharing the directions for these Star Spangled Ice Cream Sandwiches.  Click HERE to read the post!
