Friday Favorites {And a GIVEAWAY!!!}

Happy Friday, friends!  It's always a good day when it's Friday and today is no different.  I'm excited to share some fun Friday favorites with you today and make sure you read to the very bottom because we have a very exciting giveaway starting today!!!

My first favorite today is one I thing I have shared before...my favorite mascara! I've actually shared it here before, but I had two people in the past two weeks comment on my eyelashes and ask what kind of mascara I use.  I love the Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect

The best part about this is the price!  It's just about $5 from Amazon and two coats of this makes your lashes look amazing.

My next favorite are fresh flowers! I love them even more when it's a fun surprise from my sweet neighbor's yard!

She cut and brought these over last weekend and I have loved having them on my kitchen counter this week. Jen and I always joke that when we are old we're going to start gardening and will have all sorts of flowers we can cut from our yard.  Until that day comes, I'll just enjoy the ones my neighbors share!

Moving on to number three for today a pair of shoes I am SO excited about.  I had been eyeing these braided heels all summer last year, but never pulled the trigger.

Well, Target to the rescue! They have a great dupe right now.
I saw the black ones in Target last week and had been stalking the website ever since because I knew they would be stocking the tan color soon.  I ordered them this week and they should arrive over the weekend.  I feel like these are just such a great staple and will match literally everything when I have an occasion to dress up.  A friend of mine has the black ones from Target and said she thinks they are as great as the originals and for the price you cannot beat it.  They actually have several colors in stock right now! I'll report back after they are in, but I already know I'm going to love them.

My next favorite is my new jacket.

This is one of those items I didn't know I needed until I had it.  Oh my gosh!!!  Everyone who touches it comments on how soft it is. It sort of feels like wearing a super soft blanket. It matches just about everything, and I have gotten more wear out of it the past few weeks than I ever would have imagined.

Last, but certainly not least this week are these amazing bags from Lolly Luella!

We have been loving the neoprene bag trend and when we got introduced to Lolly Luella we were so excited because they are a local company based right here in metro Atlanta.  They have the cutest prints and patterns and offer such a great variety of bags.  Everything from totes to tennis bags and lunchboxes to wine carriers.  We had the chance to met the owner earlier this week and she is THE SWEETEST!!!!

I got this super fun navy and pink tote which I LOVE.  It is the ultimate mom bag. I have tried carrying smaller bags, but I always get stuck with other people's things so it just is easier for me to have something big that I can fit everything in! Their bags have great interior zippered pockets and even a small matching zippered pouch that comes with it.

Jen got one of the adorable lunchboxes that her middle immediately snagged for herself!  I mean, just look at how cute both she and that lunchbox are.

It has a cute little shoulder strap and is the perfect size to put a meal and some snacks in for a long night at the gym or great for taking to work or school.

Now here is the fun part.  Lolly Luella is so kind that they offered to give away one of their tote bags to one of our lucky readers. Yay!!! Just head on over to Instagram to read all the details and enter to win a tote bag of your choice!

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, friends!  I feel like this week has dragged on so I'm really happy to finally have Friday here.  I discovered it's been a little while since we've shared our Friday Favorites and I've got a pretty random assortment of favorites for today.  Some are new to me items and some are my tried and true, but all of them are amazing!

First up are my very favorite no-show invisible socks.

I have tried almost every invisible sock on the market and they all slip down and don't stay in place...except these!  I had two pairs and eventually they got lost in the dryer or just life so I was stuck wearing ones that didn't stay in place. One day I was so fed up that I stopped by Walmart to stock up on my favorites again.  The brand is On The Go and they sell two packs in the store or 6 packs online here.  Nothing annoys me more than my socks not staying in place and if you're in the market for some good socks, give these a try!

Next up is my new favorite vacuum. Crazy, I know, that I'm calling a vacuum one of my favorites, but it is!  I've never had a cordless vacuum before and never knew how much I needed one.

We have a golden retriever and if you know, you know.  The shedding is out of control and something I have just learned to deal with because we love him so much.  BUT, I feel like this cordless vacuum has changed the way I keep my hardwood floors clean.  I can run it easily here and there without dragging out my giant vacuum and it is so light that all of my kids can easily use it also.  It is a GREAT price at just under $100 and way less than the more expensive name brand.  My only complaint is that the charge doesn't last as long as I would hope, but for the price it really isn't that big of a deal.

My next favorite is my Loopy phone case!

I have always wanted a Loopy phone case, but when I got my new phone it was during the spring of 2020 when shipping times were crazy long and things were still shut down so I didn't want to wait the few weeks it would have taken.  My other case needed to be replaced a few months ago and I was excited to finally try out the Loopy.  I had been using a a pop socket for a few years so it took a little getting used to, but now I don't think I will ever go back!  The Loopy makes carrying my phone when my hands are full with other things a breeze and I very rarely drop my phone anymore because of the loop.  I love the black and white check, but there are a ton of different designs.

I shared these earrings on Instagram stories the other day, but wanted to share them here, too. I love the new heart jewelry from Kendra Scott!  They have so many adorable things right now that are perfect for Valentine's Day, but these earrings won me over with the multi-colored hearts.  I love hoop earrings and these were so fun. I know I'll wear them a ton now and into spring/summer with the fun colors.  The picture doesn't really do it justice how cute these are!

Last, but certainly not least this week is this little tray I have sitting on my kitchen island.

Jen and I did a little shopping at Casabella last week and I just wanted something new for my island that would feel like spring! The shape of this wooden tray is so pretty and the tulips and touches of blue just scream spring to me.  It may only be a high of 36 tomorrow, but it's going to look like spring inside my house!

That's it for Friday Favorites this week!  Hope everyone has a great weekend and stays warm.

Friday Favorites: Small Business We Love

Happy Friday!  One of the most fun things about what we do with Magnolia Mamas is getting introduced to new concepts, ideas, brands and products.  We see all sorts of things come across our channels, but we are pretty selective in what we actually accept and who we want to share with you all.  Today's Friday Favorites are brought to you by some small companies that we really love and couldn't wait to share with you all!

This week my daughter had her first week of high school cheer tryouts!  I can hardly believe she will be in high school next year, but she is so excited so I'm really happy for her.

I had a very last minute idea to get some decorated cookies for her and a few of her friends to wish them good luck!  I had the idea on Friday night and needed the cookies on Monday. I reached out to Christina's Baking Studio and she agreed to do the rush order for me.

I was so happy with the way they turned out and the girls loved them.  I've used Christina's Baking Studio a few times in the past and she never disappoints! If you are local, definitely check her out. You can find her on Facebook or Instagram

We were recently introduced to Lunchy Club and let me just tell you, it is such a game changer!  If you are like me and dread packing lunches each night, this service is for you.  You can order customized lunches for your kids, picking the items you know they will eat.

I loved that they had everything from organic snacks and juices to full on Kool-aid and Fruit-by-the-Foot options.

You place the order by Tuesday night and then it is delivered to you over the weekend so you are ready to have them for lunches the next week.  SUCH a brilliant idea and a major time saver. Plus, my kids loved it because they thought it was something fun and different than what I normally pack for them.  Lunchy Club is offering free shipping through the end of the month, so it's a great time to check them out!

I've been wanting some new necklaces that I could wear for a layered look and when I saw these Tough As A Mother necklaces I knew it was exactly what I had been looking for.  This small company is mama owned and part of their mission is to minimize mom guilt and encourage positive daily affirmations.  That is something ALL mamas need!

I decided to do the initial necklace with my own initials, but you could do your kids' initials, names, or anything else that is meaningful to you.  I also layered with one of the stone necklaces. Each of them has a different meaning and the one I picked means "balance." Clear quartz promotes patience and perseverance over worry and struggle...I just loved that!  These would be great for Mother's Day gifts!
You can see all that they offer HERE

Ever since I discovered that I can cook salmon in my air fryer, it's become a weekly go-to for dinner which means we are eating a lot more fish than we used to.  When I learned about Sitka Salmon Shares I knew it would be a great fit for our family!

It's a community supported fishery that offers monthly shares of wild-caught seafood from a collection of Alaskan fishing families.  They are responsibly harvested seasonally by their small-boat fisherman, swiftly blast frozen which gives it the fresh-from-the-ocean taste, and then delivered directly to your doorstep!

Each delivery also includes recipe cards that offer suggestions and ideas for preparing the fish.  If you are a family that eats a lot of fish, this would be a great option for you!  Check out their website HERE and be sure to use code MAGNOLIAFISH for $25 off the 2021 Premium Share box option.

Spring is here!  We just love this time of year because we love wearing bright and colorful things. We've been Eva Franco Designs fans for a while now and every time we share pieces from her line we get so many comments and questions.

You may recognize some of her items from Anthropologie, but she is now selling directly from her website.  We got some new spring/summer items and just LOVE them.

These items were actually part of their colorful surprise box we received.  You tell them your size and then they hand pick items just for you and send them your way.  It's so funny because some of the pieces I received were things I never would have picked for myself, but ended up loving when I tried them on.  I always go for the same styles and this forced me out of my comfort zone.

We have a discount code if anyone is interested in adding something new to your spring/summer wardrobe.  Use code MAGNOLIA30 for 30% off!  It won't work on the surprise boxes because they are already such a steal, but if you want individual items be sure to use that and save. :-)

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!!

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday!  This week dragged on for me and although I got a lot done, I'm happy for the weekend! We've got some fun stuff planned this weekend and my kids are off school all next week for our Winter Break, so lots to be happy about today!

When I was little Valentine's Day was one of my very favorite holidays because we got to celebrate at school with friends.  I know a lot of schools aren't doing valentine exchanges this year, but I'm so happy our elementary school is still making it happen.  Some of the classes had to bring in their items early and my son's had to go in yesterday so things can sit in "candy quarantine" until this afternoon, but we are fine with that if it means they can still do it.  He decided on a Chick-fil-A themed box this year and it was so fitting for him.

That boy LOVES some Chick-fil-A so we came up with making this box look like a nugget box, complete with fries and a drink. I think it turned out so cute and the shirt just made the whole ensemble.

I've been a busy bee working to get the pillows done for our living room and I'm so happy with how they turned out.  I just made covers for the pillows that came with the couch, but there were a ton of them so I felt like it was the project that went on and on.

I've ordered the trim for the curtains and am currently on the hunt for a round coffee table.

We shared about some new workout wear that we are loving HERE last week (complete with a discount code), but I didn't mention that my open back tank is actually from Amazon and SO cute for showing off some of those strappy sports bras.  It is under $20 and comes in a ton of colors, too!

This weekend is a BIG deal for my daughter.  It's Cheersport weekend!  Besides Summit, which is held at the end of the season, this is the biggest competition of the year and they have been working so hard to get ready.  It is crazy to think that last year we had no idea what was about to change and how everything would get shut down shortly after Cheersport.  This year is really different with limited spectators and all sorts of different procedures in place, but we're just happy that it is getting to take place.  Plus, Jen will be there with her little cheerleader, too!

Last, but not least, I'm so excited about a family vacation next week.  I mentioned earlier that our kids are on winter break next week so we are going to go on a family ski trip.  It's been several years since we were all able to go and I'm really looking forward to it!

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!!
