Happy Fall Y'all! Well almost. It's still in the 90's here and not one leaf has changed color, but it's Fall Break and we are embracing it!
All my Northern family and friends are reading this and thinking, "What? Fall Break?!?" Yup. We've been in school six weeks, and you guys just started last week. Craziness.
Normally I don't decorate until the beginning of October for Fall, but this week The Cutes and I kept seeing fun Halloween decorations and pumpkins while we were out and about. Seeing how excited they were I decided why not? I mean Hobby Lobby is already onto Valentine's Day, so what's starting for Fall a little early going to hurt?
This year I wanted to order a few personalized things to coordinate with my personalized outdoor decor that I already own. Overkill? Maybe. But this is the South, and we do love a good monogram.
As I was flipping through catalogs, I was inspired by all the burlap decor. I got in my head that I wanted a personalized pumpkin sign that I could have up from Halloween to Thanksgiving. Not really finding anything that fit the vision I had in my head at my usual go to favorite retail shops, I moved on the to next best thing, Etsy.
Etsy had some great options, but still not really what I was picturing.
So, on a whim, I decided to design and make my own. After a few tries at my DIY project I finally landed on exactly what I was picturing in my head.
I was so pleased with the final outcome, and it matches my Fall decor perfectly!
Now I can't wait to finish the rest of the house, and seeing the Cutes get excited about the decorations popping up here and there reminds me of just how much fun this time of year is.
And it reminds me of just how much theme wear/decor I can get away with. Monogrammed of course.
Over the next few weeks, we will share some more of our Fall decor and projects. We would love to see yours too! Feel free to share in the comments below!
After getting such a good response from some of my besties and my family, we thought this would be a great addition to our Etsy shop. To order your own print, click HERE.
Happy decorating!
