Fashion Fix: Timely Style with Grayton Watches

I love a good accessory. Nothing compliments an outfit more. The right accessories can transform a simple t-shirt into the most elegant evening attire. If I had to pick one accessory to wear above all others, it would be a watch. Watches are my favorite and I've grown quite the collection over the years. They are so many fun options, and I love that it's a functional accessory that will always be in style.

I'm always on the hunt for a new one, and my new favorite is this nautical inspired one from Grayton Watches.

When I was introduced to Grayton Watches I instantly fell in love with several of their pieces. The traditional style and classic elegant faces are beautiful. As a lover of anything with a preppy or coastal feel, I was drawn to their fabric strap options.

I wanted something a little more casual and fun for summer, and thought this one would be perfect.

I love the navy face and striped band with the rose gold touches. The quality is superb and I love it is an automatic watch and I won't have to replace the battery ever.

Simply walking will keep it wound and in perfect time. Plus I absolutely love the look of the open back.

The watch has definitely been fun to wear, and has become a go-to for any event. It's been comfortable to wear from baseball games to playing with the kids in the yard to evening nights out.

I've received tons of compliments on it and even Mr. Cute has borrowed it a time or two.

It's the men's Fabric Strap Watch so it suits us both. I went back and forth between this one and the unisex version, but love larger faced watches so decided on the men's one. I think it's fun, and maybe one day soon I'll surprise Mr. Cute one of his own so I won't have to share. ;)

Speaking of gifts, the watch surprised me when it came wrapped so well.

The packaging was just as elegant as the watch, and if gifting one to someone I love that it's already ready to present nicely even if it has to be shipped for a someone special out of town.

I am definitely a new fan, and will be keeping my eye out on Grayton if I want to add a new watch to my ever growing accessory collection.

I've been so excited about my new watch, that my lovely new friends at Grayton Watches have given me a discount code to share with you in case you want to add one to your collection too. Use code Flcom-Grayton15%-TheMagnoliaMamas for 15% off your entire purchase.

Keeping it Casual with French Toast

We mention a time or two (or maybe a dozen) that we love southern preppy style when it comes to anything...including kids fashion. Throw on a collared shirt, add a monogram and voila - you have our perfect outfit.

Our second love though will always be comfy everyday activewear. There is nothing like throwing on a cozy sweatshirt, or a soft pair of leggings. The kids love those days too. They've come to learn that their initials will be on practically anything, and our boys will always request a "button shirt like daddy's", but they love being comfortable and wearing items that allow them to play and move without have to give a second thought to what they are wearing.

Last month we shared our love for French Toast, the children's fashion brand that specializes in all things preppy. French Toast does a spectacular job in designing durable school uniform looks for both boys and girls at affordable prices. The polos we bought the boys last month are excellent and start at under $8!

French Toast also offers an exceptional line of children's active and everyday play wear - and we LOVE it! Their kids clothing is always on trend, and durable enough to with stand even roughest of tumble of the active boy!  Combine that with their amazing prices and you have now found your number one stop for your children's clothing purchases!

{On Cute: Long Sleeve Striped Thermal - $8)
We are in love with this long sleeve lace raglan tee that Little Mama is wearing. In fact, we wish it came in our size. How seriously adorable is it?!? It comes in black and heather grey and is available in sizes 2T to 14. Currently it is priced for under $5!! Run, don't walk to grab one for your little girl. Seriously, go!!

Goldilocks loves her some comfortable clothes. She is definitely one who would rather throw on a pair of jeans or soft leggings any day of the week. She fell in love with this super soft navy tie waist dress ($8). It looks great with leggings and boots or even just with flats on warmer days. It's cozy french terry blend fabric definitely satisfies her need to be comfy at all times!

Little Cute opted for a playful look in this long sleeve striped ruffle top. The ruffle at the bottom is simply adorable, and gives a little something extra to the typical plain tee. It comes in three amazing colors and coordinating leggings are available too. Currently the top is also only $5! As soft and comfortable as it is, I will definitely be ordering another one for her.

French Toast has definitely impressed us with their adorable uniform style and their fun classic playtime pieces. Their quality and comfort in our opinion is unmatched. Our little ones not only feel great, but look great - and that is the key to these mamas hearts.

Fashion Fix: Nailing It This Fall

Is it me or is the alarm clock the worst invention ever?!? Back-to-school is in full swing over here and I am already missing those carefree days of summer. The air is slowly starting to show those little signs of crisp fall, and if we have to get up super early, or spend our late afternoons on the fields watching the kids, at least we are getting to enjoy glimpses of the wonderful season ahead.

Fall just makes us giddy. From the activities to the food (pumpkin!!) to fall fashion - we LOVE it.

With all this talk of fall trends lately, I've already started eyeing my favorite pair of boots in my closet, and looking longingly at my scarf collection. It is still way to warm outside to wear any of it, but what has been fun lately is putting away my summer nail polish and breaking out my fall colors. After getting a sneak peek at the insider tour at The Avenue, I've already added a few new fun colors to my rotation.

Here are some of my current favorites...

In fall I tend to wear a lot of neutral toned nail polish mixed in with hints of reds. These four nail polishes are always on repeat. Essie nail polish from left to right: Copper Penny, She's Pampered, Mochachino, and Sand Tropez.

This bronze toned color is new to me, but I already know it will be in constant rotation. It is Covergirl's "Being Blonde".

This grey is one of my absolute favorites. I usually wear it straight through winter as well. This is Essie's "Master Plan" and then I put a light coat of Mochachino over it sometimes to give it a little shimmer.

And seriously fall can't be complete without the perfect red. Opi's "I'm Not Really A Waitress" is my favorite red. It has a little hint of sparkle, and is my go to for game day color. Sometimes I even pop on one of these fun UGA nail decals to coordinate. Gotta love life in the south. :)

And those are my favorite fall nail colors. With the color palette that is trending in stores I know all of these will coordinate perfectly.

And speaking of fall trends, before we go we need to announce a winner to the Fall Fashion Preview giveaway. The winner of the gift card to Talbots from The Avenue is

Cheryl Billings!

Congratulations! Shoot us an email and we will get that prize out to you so you can a jump start on your fall shopping.
