Designer Inspired Bracelets {From Amazon}

It's no secret that we love designer inspired items around here.  A good dupe is always a fun find and I feel like I hit the jackpot with these bracelets!  I went down a rabbit hole last week searching for something specific, and while I was at it I came across some amazing designer inspired bracelets. The best part...they are all from Amazon! It sure it would be nice to have unlimited amounts of money to spend on clothing, jewelry and accessories, but if you don't have a money tree growing in your back yard, you might want to check out some of these options. It appears I'm not the only one who likes them because most of them have a ton of great reviews. I ordered one of each of them and let me just tell you, they look SO good!!!

1. H Bracelets - $23.99 - Don't let the first photo you see on the link fool you.  Check out the video to see how great these really look.

2. Clover Bracelets - $17.99 - Comes in a bunch of different color options.  The white that I ordered is more of a Mother of Pearl and so pretty!

3. Cable Wire Link Bracelet - $14.99 - Currently on sale!  Love the mix of gold and silver with this one.

4. Gold Hinge Bangles - $11.99 - The price!!! I mean, I literally can't even with this one.  It's so good!  Lots of great reviews also.

5. Cable Wire Bangle - $12.99 - Love the mix of gold and silver with this one, too!

My daughter has already borrowed a few of these from me, so these would be great gifts if you are starting to think about Christmas!

Amazon Swim Cover Ups

We have finally settled into the swing of summer break around here and are just loving all of our time spent in swimsuits by the pool or at the lake.  Next month we're going back to the Bahamas and we learned our lesson last year about what TO pack (we lived in swimsuits and coverups) and what NOT TO pack (any real clothes).  Since we're going to be spending 10 days living in swimsuits and coverups I decided to order a few new coverups for our trip and I found the CUTEST options from Amazon and most of them are on sale and under $30!

1. Chiffon Colorball Tassel Cover Up  ($23.00)

2. V-neck Mini Dress Cover Up  ($24.00)

3. V-neck Crochet Cover Up ($17.00)

4. Lace Trim V-neck Cover Up ($20.00)

5. Chiffon Sarong ($18.00)

6. Knit Dress Cover Up ($24.00)

7. Ruffle Trim Cover Up ($27.00)

8. White Crochet Sleeveless Tunic ($24.00)

9. Chiffon Tassel and Crochet Cover Up ($26.00)

Amazon Lately

Happy Monday!  Our weekend was a whirlwind and I feel like I need a weekend from my weekend to rest and recover.  I wanted to kick off the week with a new Amazon Lately post.  I used to be the only person in my house to order from Amazon, so I could easily just look at my recent purchases when I do these posts. However, the Mr. has discovered just how amazing Amazon can be so now there are all sorts of random items in my orders.  Just be happy I'm sharing my items instead of his!

1. Disposable Face Masks - Because 2020, and now 2021.  Really hoping the mask thing is behind us sooner than later. I like disposable masks better than fabric ones and my oldest likes these best for cheer, so needed to restock.

2. Apple Watch Band - The girls got a few new fun watch band colors in their Easter baskets and after I ordered these I sort of wished I had gotten an Easter basket myself this year.

3. No-Show Socks - This is the exact type of item that I love Amazon for.  I knew my daughter needed more socks, but every time I go to Walmart or Target I would always forget to grab some.  Finally one day I just ordered a pack from Amazon so I didn't have to worry about heading back to another store.

4. Moroccan Oil Root Boost - I used to use this stuff and decided I wanted to get back to some big hair status.  I love this for adding volume.  You just spray it on your roots before you dry your hair and boom!  Big hair!

5. Comfy - This was a birthday gift for my daughter and she loves it!

6. Melochew - My son takes Melatonin before bed and it was time to reorder.

7. Camo Kids Disposable Face Masks - All of my son's masks were starting to get holes in them from so many wears/washes.  Plus they get nasty when he wears them all day at school, especially now that it is starting to get hot. I was thinking disposable will be more comfortable and easy to switch out mid-day if needed.

8. 2021-2022 Academic Planner - I'm a paper planner kind of girl.  I love an academic year planner because in my head everything follows the school year. It's crazy to think this school year is coming to an end already.  I was starting to schedule appointments and sports stuff for late summer. My current planner only went through June so I needed a new one. This one runs from July 2021 - June 2022.

9. Rubik's Pyramid - My son is obsessed with Rubik's cubes and has all sorts of different varieties. I had no idea there were so many different ones, but this pyramid was his latest request and he quickly figured out how to solve it!

Holiday Home Finds from Amazon

If you are a little late to the holiday game this year (ahem, hand raised and waving) then this post is for you. I'll be honest, I was all excited to get all the holiday things up early. But then stuff is still in storage from the great move of 2020, and well...life.

Early on I spotted some amazing things at Amazon, and just ordered some more of these plaid pillow covers I found.

Gotta love that free 2-day Prime shipping.

I shared these finds on social media and realized we never shared them here. Amazon has some great holiday home decor items and everything is still available to be shipped in just a few days. Some of these items also make for great hostess gifts if you happen to be lucky enough to be living a quarantine free Christmas.

Wall Organization Inspiration

Now that we are back in the swing of a new school year and Fall activities, I am desperately trying to get my busy family organized. I constantly feel we are living a groundhog's day version of that moment in Home Alone. You know the one I'm talking about? The panicked rush from the house through the airport scene?

We're all running around in different directions, with different activities, and my husband and I have a mostly well coordinated afternoon activities pick-up/drop-off routine that luckily hasn't left any poor child behind or forgotten.

Somewhere along the line I realized that I was the keeper of all the things. The four other people were constantly asking me, "Where are we going today?" or "What time is practice today?" or "What are our weekend plans?"

wall organization system

I've been eyeing this wall organization system from Pottery Barn for forever, but for some reason I've never pulled the trigger. I love the idea of having everything written and available in a central location so that my kids and husband all know what our schedule is or where they need to be without asking me. Because bless them if I suddenly go missing one day.

I think part of my hesitation is that the wall system is on the pricier side. I know there are less expensive options out there, but it is nice this one is all packaged up and ready for you in one click. I also remembered last year Carrie Beth did this same thing for her family and found a super cute chalkboard wall calendar that she loves.

acrylic wall calendar

After looking a little deeper, I realized our faithful shopping friend - Amazon - has some great options available. I still haven't decided what to do, but.... I am planning on getting this done by the end of the week. Here's are some of the fun wall organization options I've found so far in case you are thinking you want to organize your family too!

wall organization available from Amazon

  1. Oversized Framed Monthly Calendar - Love this option! It comes in a variety of wood frame options as well as different backgrounds aside from the traditional white board option (ex: chalkboard, galvanized tin, etc.). It's the perfect calendar to mix and match other organization pieces with.

  2. Hidden Chalkboard/Corkboard - What a great way to keep everything nice and organized while still being decorative. Love this option - especially to hide away messy pinned projects and invitations.

  3. Custom organization board - Am I the only one who didn't know Amazon offered personalized items too?! The minute I saw this customized framed white board I fell in love. It comes completely customized and every section/name/frame color/etc. can be something tailored to organize your family. And it's a steal!

  4. Framed White Board w/Notes - Similar to the one above, but slightly larger without the customization. I love the fact that it has a "notes" and a "to do" section included.

  5. Get Things Done - I thought this framed "Get Things Done" white board was the perfect addition to a wall organization system. I like the size of it as well as the fact it has a ton of different frame and background options (it even has a galvanized version!)

  6. Galvanized Framed Monthly Calendar - Speaking of galvanized things, I thought this galvanized monthly calendar was perfect for all the farmhouse decor lovers we know. It is also magnetized as well!

  7. Acrylic Calendar Options - Acrylic decor is having a moment right now and there are so many on trend calendar options on Amazon as well as accessories to make your own complete wall organization system. I like this monthly version with gold detailing (comes with matching gold accessories and a weekly option!), but I thought this square one was cute too!

  8. Hanging Burlap Organizer - I thought this framed organizer was genius! It has burlap wrapped pockets that can also be used as a push board with pins. It's dual purpose makes it a great mix and match piece with the wall calendars!

  9. Hanging Basket Organizers - Almost all wall systems I looked at had some sort of hanging basket organizer to hold mail, magazines, etc. There are SO many great options on Amazon, but these triple tiered wire ones that come in various color finishes were some of my favorite - especially at that price! I also like this little trio of baskets

I'll follow up with what I pick soon! But let me know if you have one of these and what are your favorites!

Amazon Lately: July and August

I have been loving the Amazon Lately posts each month and July sort of got away from me so I decided to combine July with the beginning of August for today's post.  Some of the things in my orders this past month were simply too boring to share like a new grill brush the Mr. ordered or a replacement air mattress for our hanging bed on the porch.  However, I did have some really great items this month so I decided those would be more fun to share!

1. Glow in the dark dip nail set - I shared about these on stories after we first got it, but I am literally obsessed!!!  Since quarantining started I have been doing my own DIY Dip Manicures at home.  You can read all about it HERE. The girls wanted some fun new colors for summer so I let them pick out a set and they chose this glow in the dark set. Y'all!!!  I am just like a little kid because every night when I get in bed I can't stop staring at my nails glowing.  It's also fun when I'm putting my son to bed because he gets a kick out of them glowing!

2. Dip manicure polishes - In order to do a dip manicure you need 3 different polishes (a base, an activator and the special top coat). The original set I bought came with the polishes, but they were running low and I needed some more and ordered this set.  So far it's worked great for me!

3. 100 pack of stickers - Our county is starting school next week 100% virtual and none of us are very happy about it.  However, we are trying to make the most of it so to get the kids excited I let them decorate their laptops with stickers.  This pack was 100 stickers for $4.99 and some of them are really cute! These stickers are waterproof so they are also great for decorating their water bottles.

4. Facemasks - A friend told me about this brand of facemarks that her kids liked so I ordered a few for my son.  He loves them because they are really soft and the ear loops are comfortable and adjustable.  They come in a TON of cute prints so I'm tempted to get some for the girls too...especially if we end up heading back to school anytime soon.

5. Pitching trainer baseball - My son has this and loves it so we bought one for his friend's birthday gift who is also starting kid-pitch baseball. It shows them how and where to grab the ball for different types of pitches.

6. Pitching speed sensor ball - My son also has had fun with it so we ordered this to go with the same birthday gift mentioned above.  It is a baseball that you can pitch and it tells you how fast you are pitching. I'm not sure that it is 100% accurate, but it is still fun for him to use with friends.

7. Silver Dollar sneakers - These sneakers from Amazon are a great Golden Goose dupe. They are made with real leather, are perfectly distressed and are much cheaper.  They come in a bunch of different colors and I was trying to decide between the blush and these with the gold accent, but love the ones I got!  I know I will wear them a bunch this fall and winter.

8. Drawer organizer - I have a super shallow drawer in my bathroom that for 6 years has been unorganized and I decided this week to do something about it. I searched and found this two-pack that seems like it will fit and work great to keep all of my make up and other things like that organized. It is set to arrive today so I'll keep y'all posted!

9. Urgent repair shampoo - My hairdresser suggested this to me several years ago for dealing with my daughter's super blonde hair.  Swimming in some of our friend's pools makes her hair turn green and dry from all the chemicals.  She uses this after swimming and we've found it really does help.  We were all out so I was happy to find it on Amazon!

10. Flashcards - My son is starting 3rd grade...the year to learn multiplication facts!  I already started working with him a little in the spring and over the summer to learn some of his facts with a set we had. His teacher also recommended a pack of division flashcards for their virtual learning.

11. Mascara - Someone told me about this amazing mascara available on Amazon. It has over 7,000 5 star reviews so I decided to give it a try.  It's only $5 and SO good!!!  I've been wearing it all summer and also have the waterproof version that I wear when we are going to the lake or the pool.

The very last thing I ordered on Amazon was THIS for my son.  His teacher said they needed it for a book study so Amazon to the rescue!

Amazon Lately: June

Over the weekend we celebrated Father's Day with a cookout at our house and my father-in-law and I were chatting about our love of Amazon.  We gave him an Amazon gift card for Father's Day because I knew he could pick out anything he wanted and he was saying how he got a package the day before, was expecting one that day, and another one would be arriving on Monday. That is the best part about Amazon. I order, it shows up in just a day or two, and it saves me running out to the store every time I need something.

Y'all loved my last Amazon Lately post so thought I would share another one this month!  My oldest celebrated her birthday last week, so a lot of the purchases were gifts for her, gifts for Father's Day and also some other random things thrown in the mix, too.

1. Wave Ring - This was a  gift for my daughter.  It is a dupe for the very popular name brand with a similar style, but at much lower price point!

2. AirPod Case - The kids and I got the Mr. AirPods as part of his Father's Day gift so I ordered this leather case for him to go along with it.

3. Fly Ball Thrower - My son plays baseball and being able to track fly balls is something all the kids are constantly needing to work on.  He wanted to get this for the Mr. for Father's Day!  It's very similar to the one people use to toss tennis balls for dogs which makes me laugh, but this one fits baseballs and actually tosses the balls really far!  They've had a lot of fun practicing with it.

4. Coop Pillow - For Mother's Day I got new pillows for our bed and after reading a lot of reviews we ended up with the Coop.  We got two standard pillows and two body pillows. They are made of shredded memory foam and are AMAZING!  It comes with extra "fluff" so you can add or take it out to adjust the pillows to your liking.  Well, it comes already pretty stuffed so we ended up wanting to take some of the stuffing out of all four of the pillows we got which meant we had a ton of extra stuffing and that leads me to #5!

5. Zippered Pillow Cases - Because we had so much extra stuffing I bought zippered pillow cases to be able to put that fluff to good use.  I filled 5 other standard pillow cases with the extra shredded memory foam and now the kids all have some amazingly comfortable pillows to sleep with on their beds, too! Coop would probably not want me advertising this, but if you do end up buying some of their pillows you can make some extras of your own, too!

6. Star Pajamas - These pajamas are super soft and super cute! They were a birthday gift for my daughter, but I might end up with a pair for myself, too.  They come in a bunch of different colors and prints.

7. Outdoor String Lights - After seeing a friend's patio with outdoor lights I decided I would love some on our screened porch and these had SO many great reviews.  I still haven't gotten around to hanging them up, but it is on my to-do list for this week!

8. Essential Oils - Another birthday gift for my daughter. She is obsessed with all things that smell good!  She's been known to go through an entire bottle of body mist just spraying it around her room so for her birthday I decided to get her some of these. Also see #11.

9. Ball Park Mystery Books - I've shared these before, but my son LOVES this series of books. He started reading them in March when schools closed and I'm making him read for 20 minutes a day this summer so he flew threw a ton of the books!  I ordered 5 more in the series for him. If you have a sports loving kid, I definitely recommend these books!

10. Shea Sugar Scrub - This stuff smells great and is perfect for exfoliating dry skin while moisturizing at the same time!

11. LED Essential Oil Diffuser - This goes with #8!  This diffuser works great and she loves the remote control and the fact that she can pick from a lot of different LED colors.  I actually just ordered a second one of these for my middle blondie to have in her room!

12. Sugar Lip Scrub - Chapped and dry lips don't stand a chance against this lip scrub.  The Bubble Gum scent made it a perfect gift for my daughter.

So there you have my orders from Amazon lately.  Click HERE to see the very last thing I ordered!

Amazon Lately

I don't know about the rest of you, but I have been ordering from Amazon a lot here lately.  I have always loved Amazon and the fact that I can get just about anything I need without leaving my house, but during our shelter in place time I found another level of love for Amazon!

I thought it would be fun to share some of the things I've gotten from Amazon lately. Maybe some of these are items that you could use, too!

1. Basic t-shirts and sweatshirts - I ordered these before our Spring Break when we were going to tie-dye.  You can see all the fun we had HERE!  I'm tempted to order some more because my son really wants to make a sweatshirt, so I'm thinking we will do another round of tie-dye soon.

2. Screen protector - My daughters and I got new phones a few weeks ago and I am a stickler for a good case and a screen protector.  If someone's phone shatters, that is their problem, not mine and they will be required to pay what it costs to replace it.  No one wants to spend that kind of money so after reading a ton of reviews this screen protector looked like one of the best ones for the price.  Plus, it has the easiest, fool-proof applicator I have ever used. If you are in need of a new screen protector, I'd definitely recommend these!

3. No-show socks - Just because there is a pandemic happening doesn't mean that socks stop getting holes. A lot of my socks were in bad shape so I decided to replace some.  These have thousands of great reviews and I love them because they don't slip down at all!

4. Dip manicure set - I ordered this dip manicure set right after the shelter in place started and have done my nails 3 times now at home.  I also have done my girls' nails and we all LOVE the results. I don't think I'll go back to getting my nails done in the salon except for special occasions.

5. Plush dog - My son really wanted a Squishmallow stuffed animal and I found this knock-off brand on Amazon.  Just as soft and actually bigger than we were expecting. He loves using it as a pillow and anything that is going to help him sleep better, I'm all for.

6. Macrame pillows - I moved some of our living room pillows out to our hanging bed so I wanted to some new ones to bright up the sectional. The quality of these are really nice. When I ordered I didn't realize that they were only the covers without the inserts so I quickly ordered THESE inserts. Tip: I like to order inserts larger than the covers so they will fill them out nicely and be extra fluffy.

7. Felt pads - I moved our basement barstools to the kitchen and realized I needed the felt pads to put on the bottom of the legs so they wouldn't scratch the wood floor. I usually keep these on hand because they will occasionally fall off, but I realized I was all out so Amazon Prime to the rescue!

8. Mel-o-chew melatonin - This is the melatonin we use for my son and we were close to running out.  I've written about this before, but this stuff just helps him calm down and be able to fall asleep.

9. 2020-2021 Academic planner - I saw something the other day saying the worst purchase someone made recently was a 2020 planner. SO true!  However, I am ever hopeful that things are going to slowly get back to normal and I have dates coming up that I will need to start getting on my calendar. I like using an academic planner that runs July-June (essentially the school year) because in my brain, that is how I see years.

10. Folex stain remover - I saw this stuff had a ton of great reviews and decided to give it try mostly because I wanted to be able to keep the kitchen bar stools clean.  It works SO well.  Very impressed and it will pretty much get out ANYTHING!

11. Zone Perfect bars - My kids loves these and I do, too.  For a while at the beginning of shelter in place my grocery store was sold out so I found them on Amazon!

12. Tie-Dye kit - This is the kit we used and I loved how everything we needed to do the tie-dye was included! It comes in a bunch of different colors.

If you have any great Amazon items, send them my way! What have you gotten from Amazon lately?!

Friday Favorites: Activities for Kids from Amazon

We made it to Friday!!!  Our first digital learning/quarantining/homeschooling/social distancing week is in the books.  How many more weeks will it be???  No one seems to know.

Our emotions have been all over the place this week.  Some days we feel like we are rocking this at-home thing and others we feel like we are going crazy! Overall, we tried to step back and appreciate the slower pace of life.  We can most definitely say we miss our friends, our sports, our schools, and our normal way of life. However, we're trying to stay positive and look on the bright side of things.  More family time, more down time, more connecting with each other and more opportunities to do the things we wouldn't normally be able to.

Because we are sticking to our schedule as much as possible and trying to limit technology the best we can, the kids have spent a lot of time this week doing other things. We thought it would be fun to  share some of our favorites that are available on Amazon so you can order and have them delivered right to your front door! Have any favorites of your own?  PLEASE send them our way!!!

1. Lettering and Modern Calligraphy - My 7th grader told me she wanted to learn how to do calligraphy during this time at home and I thought it was a great idea!  I found this instructional book to teach different lettering styles and it has a lot of practice pages, too! (Also see #7)

2. Dino Fossil Kit - I have shared this before as a great birthday gift idea, but thought it deserved mentioning again. My son loves these National Geographic digging kits and these will keep him busy all afternoon sometimes!

3. Coding and Robotics Kit - This can totally count as their STEM class, right? A fun activity that also keeps their brains working is a win-win!

4. Super Slime Lab - What kid doesn't love slime?  Most moms aren't fans, but desperate times call for desperate measures. Letting your little ones create and make some slime might just be worth it if it buys you a little me time!

5. Tie-Dye Kit - We LOVE to tie-dye in our house. We even had a tie-dye birthday party one year.  This is a fun way to spend an afternoon and actually something that will span a few days from start to finish so perfect for this time at home.  You can tie-dye t-shirts, pillow cases, towels, all sorts of things to keep you busy!

6. Flower Growing Kit - Going to be stuck at home for a few weeks? This kit is one that kids can check on each day and be able to see the flowers/plants grow over time! This one checks some of the science boxes!

7. Calligraphy Pens - This goes with #1.  A set of 12 calligraphy pens in a variety of colors can keep some of your tween girls busy and happy for hours!

8. Kanoodle Game- My kids LOVE this game.  We own a few of them and they always love challenging each other and themselves to solve the puzzles.  A great brain game and also something we like to take with us when we travel on planes or cars because of it's compact carrying case.

9. Rock Art Kit - Painting Rocks anyone?  This could be an art lesson and could extend a few days if you want to "hide" the rocks on a local hiking path, in a park, or even in your neighborhood.  Bring some joy to others who are social distancing during this time!

10. Battle Bots - Go head-to-head with your own remote control robots.  This one is great for multiple kids because they can challenge each other!

11. Zipline - My kids got this for Christmas and it is has been a favorite during our time stuck at home.  Outside time always involves someone zipping around and while it isn't cheap, the fun it provides is worth it!

12. Spy Kit - Anyone have a boy that likes to sneak around?  This spy kits gives them all sorts of tools they need to find finger prints, use invisible ink and special spy glasses to sneak around on every member of your family.

13. Plus Plus Building Toys - This will keep kids busy for countless hours. They can build, use their imagination and be creative with colorful interlocking blocks that can create a flat mosaic or 3D designs.

14. Origami Kit - Ever wanted to learn how to fold paper to create amazing objects? This step-by-step kit will teach the beginners how to make animals!

15. Marble Run Set - Multiple pieces allow your kids to build many different tracks and have marbles race to the end!  Put their little engineering brains to work while they are having fun.

16. Uno Card Game - A classic!  You might already have this, so it is a great time to pull it out. This colorful card game can be played with 2-10 players, so a great activity for the entire family!

5 Tips For Sprucing Up Your Patio

Summertime, and the living is easy!  It's the greatest time of year if you ask us.  We love having our kids home from school, we love having friends over to grill out, and we love the lazy, laid-back schedules that come along with it.

The covered patio off our basement was kind of an after thought when it came to decorating.  We've had some furniture down there for a while, but it never felt like a very comfortable space and I hadn't really put any thought into that area. I really wanted to spruce up that space for summer so that it would feel more inviting and would encourage us to use it more.  I am obsessed with how it turned out and have loved every second we've spent out there so far.  I wanted to share all about what I did to make it feel just like another room in our home instead of just an outdoor spot to grill in the hopes that it would inspire someone else to do the same with their outdoor space.

5 Tips For Sprucing Up Your Patio For Summer

1. Treat it like an extension of your home.
When you start to think of this area like another room in your home you will immediately want to treat it like that.  Cleaning this "room" will become part of your normal cleaning routine. No one wants to go sit out on dirty chairs or deal with dead bugs.  If you keep the space clean and tidy on a regular basis, you're definitely more likely to use it on a regular basis!

2. Have comfortable seating and lots of pillows.
Having somewhere comfortable to sit is key!  We opted for an outdoor sectional, but didn't go crazy with it. It's not top of the line, by any means, but it is great for what we needed and somewhere soft to land.

The outdoor dining table is a hand-me-down from my in-laws, but in PERFECT condition and the cushion colors just happened to match!

Adding pillows is my VERY favorite way to spruce up any space, both indoors and out!  I don't care if fabrics are treated for outdoors, I still use them outside and just wash as needed. To me, the pillows 100% make this space feel just like home. I love the buffalo plaid pillow covers from Amazon and the Vineyard Vines x Target collaboration one I snagged in my local Target last week!  The others are ones I had stashed around my house in other areas that I just repurposed for the patio.

3. Add a rug.
This is probably one that my husband didn't agree with, but I knew it would make the patio feel more cozy and home like.  I wanted an indoor-outdoor rug that was durable and could be hosed off after pollen season, but that was colorful and comfortable to put my feet on.  I ended up going with THIS one in the 8x10 and could not be happier.

The price was right, I didn't have to pay extra shipping and it completely changed the look of the space. When my little guy saw it out there for the first time he said, "Wow!  That carpet makes it look way gooder out there."  And he was right!  This was the thing that completely changed the look of the patio.

4. Plants, greenery and flowers!
I love little pops of green both indoors and out!  I use all sorts of artificial boxwood sprigs in fun containers inside my house and also like to use them outdoors, too!

I don't have a green thumb, but I do love potted plants or flowers because they are usually easier to keep alive (as long as I remember to water them!).

5. Don't forget the finishing touches.
Think about all of those items that make our indoors spaces feel "finished."  I'm talking about the candles, small decor items, wall art and just personal little items that make a home feel like a home. You add them to rooms indoors, so don't forget to use those outside on our porch or patio, too!

I just mostly used things I already had on hand, but also added a few new things.  I made the American flag sign at Board and Brush and I'm obsessed with it!

I also grabbed a few of these candles from the Vineyard Vines x Target collaboration!  Candles are great for keeping bugs away at night, too!

I really love the way this space turned out and know that we will enjoy using it all summer long!

Do you have an outdoors space you use?  Any other ideas to share for sprucing it up?

Amazing Amazon Finds: March

We're back for another Amazing Amazon Finds post.  The past two months this has been a reader favorite and it is definitely fun for us to put together.  Hello?!  Who doesn't love coming home to a fun package sitting at their front door?!  We are thinking about spring and so ready for warm weather so a lot of our finds are things that will work now and take us into real spring weather.

Carrie Beth's Finds

I just love everything that I got from Amazon this month.  First up is this amazing maxi dress. I had been wanting a basic black maxi for a while and when I saw this one had over 2,000 reviews I knew it must be a winner.  It has a racer back, is super soft and comfortable and has pockets. The best part of all is that it only cost me $16.99!  Some colors and sizes are a little more, but all are under $25!

Next are these super fun earrings!  They are under $10 and super light weight. They come in several different color combinations and I'm pretty sure I'm going to be ordering another color.

I had been on the search for a great basic v-neck tshirt and I found it! These are an Amazon Essential brand and come in a two pack. I got the peach and white ones because I thought they would be great for spring, but there are tons of different color and pattern combinations.

I just feel like these are great for this time of year when you need to layer for cooler mornings and warmer afternoons. I also love these because they have a bit of stretch to them which helps them keep their shape.

I shared these products on a Friday Favorites, but because it comes from Amazon I wanted to share it again here.  I love the Moroccan Oil root boost so decided to use their shampoo and conditioner also after Jen told me about it. I love all three of these products and they help give my fine hair a little extra boost!

Okay, I Amazon just about everything. From home decor to diapers to my favorite snacks - everything! And now I'm super puffy heart in love with the Prime Wardrobe feature. The fact that I don't have to tote three impatient kids to a dressing room to try on clothes -winning! I love that you can just pick out a few items, try it on at home, send back what you don't like, and then get charged for only what you do keep.

Its dangerous. In an oh so good way.

This last month I found a ton of great items.

This striped sweatshirt dress was an instant favorite! Like I want to wear it everyday.
And I almost have. #sorrynotsorry

Remember last month when I bought this sweatshirt top

Well this dress is made by the same brand and it is so so comfy. Its just as soft, and super light weight, which is perfect for these transitional spring days.

It comes in a ton of colors too. I might grab the blush colored one like my top on my next order.
| dress | pink sandals | pink earrings | denim jacket |
One of my most used purchases from this month were these pink stone earrings

I've worn them with a ton of different outfits. I have a similar pair from Kendra Scott that I love, but these are so much lighter. They are a fraction of the price and they don't weigh down my ears by the end of the day.

I love them so much I ordered a green pair too that will hopefully arrive in time for St. Patrick's Day this weekend. I have faith in you Amazon Prime.

One of the toughest problems I have with Amazon Fashion is that sometimes it can be overwhelming to search and narrow down the good from the bad. There's just so much stuff. I've found a few go-to brands that I like, and one of them is Ella Moon. They have some really great items. I ordered this lavender tunic top and it quickly has become one of my spring favorites!

Its's just so pretty in person. My pictures do not do it justice. But it has some gold threads weaved into it, and cute little tassels.

Note: Keep checking the price. I feel like it fluctuates a ton!

| pink ruffle pullover | white cutoff shorts | perforated sneakers |

These new few pieces were packed in my suitcase for our Winter Break beach trip. These white cut off shorts from last month's Amazon Finds were on repeat all week.  But the real winner was this pink ruffled pull over. It's the perfect lightweight pullover and I love that it has a fun little girly touch.

Second favorite to the white cut off shorts were these lightweight pull-on cut-offs. I mean, an elastic waistband will always win. Always.

The cut-offs are thicker so they aren't see through, and they are so so comfortable. No matter how many beach side tacos I ate, they were there for it.

I already know these shorts will be getting a ton of use this summer.

| cover-up | swimsuit |

Excuse the wrinkled-ness of this cover-up but I didn't think to take a pic until after a day of beaching it. But its just too cute not to share.

The pom poms and crochet are so fun. The cover up comes in a ton of colors and it's under $20.

This tunic top is one I've gotten a million questions about any time I wear it. I love anything blue and white, so when I saw this (and it's inexpensive price!), I quickly added it to my cart. It's a lightweight material and isn't lined, but not see through.

| shirt | bag | jeans |
The rest of the outfit is pretty cute too. I love that Amazon carries both inexpensive brands as well as higher end brands. Because sometimes a girl just needs to buy herself a new spring bag for her birthday. And this Tory Burch tote was calling my name.

I own this same bag in another color and love how easy these totes are so easy to care for. The material is easy to just wipe off. Perfect for a mom bag!

Last up for me this month are these fun tassel earrings. I love the tassel trend and ordered a few pairs. These were the only winners. They are lighter in weight than they look. They come in a ton of colors and styles, and I'm thinking I might need a second pair. For less than $10 they are a winner!
