You're Invited: Charcuterie with Coton Colors Atlanta

 What is your charcuterie style? Do you have favorite cheeses you always use? Go to accoutrements? Dips that are always a huge hit? Or do you have no clue and just throw things together? 

I tend to belong in the latter category. 

I love a good charcuterie board, but often just "wing it". I know how to make it pretty, but when it comes to the perfect pairings, or the best cheese combos...I'm lost. 

That's why I am so excited to attend Coton Colors Charcuterie Event later this week at their Atlanta Flagship store! And I want to see some familiar faces, so hopefully a few of you can join me too!

COTON COLORS CHARCUTERIE BOARDS, ACCESSORIES & MORE! 

A few weeks ago, Carrie Beth and I did a little shopping at the Coton Colors Atlanta Flagship store and met the owner and her wonderful staff. We swooned over all the amazing home decor and gift items they have in stock, and were blown away by their customer service. They strive to make sure you leave their store feeling like you got the best experience ever! 

And their charcuterie board section is not to be ignored! We shared the amazing selection they have in stock - so many board sizes, patterns, and coordinating accessory options! So whether you are a charcuterie pro - or rookie - they know how to help you make it look good!

Seriously, they have the most adorable accessories. No one will care if you meats and cheeses don't coordinate. They'll be too busy giving all the heart eyes to this adorable Hedge Hog Tooth Pick Holder. 

One of our favorite things about the store was that it also carried local and artisan accoutrements to help inspire you to create the perfect charcuterie board. We love when you can help support local businesses while one stop shopping - it's a win for everyone!

Holiday Open House Recap

It's official for us - the holidays are here! On Friday we rang in the start of the holiday season with our friends at Findlay Rowe. Each year they host a holiday open house and this year they asked us to help co-host a small part of it. 

We had tons of fun meeting everyone in person, chatting all things Thanksgiving/Christmas, and of course - our favorite part - shopping! 

We were asked to give two presentations. Our first was about holiday decor and entertaining. We designed a quick tablescape with items from the shop (totally swooning over all the holiday plaids this year!), and came up with a quick and easy dessert recipe to share with guests this holiday season.

For our second presentation we focused on holiday style.

The holidays are always so crazy and rarely do we find ourselves at home having down time to even do the simplest things - like change our outfits for one event to the next. 

We shared some of our favorite key pieces to have on hand and some simple ways to take your outfit from daytime school party to evening holiday soirée.  

Findlay Rowe has so many great quality fashion pieces on hand it made our job super easy! (And our bank accounts super light...)

We also both wore holiday looks from the store to share with everyone for inspiration. Carrie Beth's won on every level.  Style plus comfort always wins. In this case both came in the form of Spanx leggings and Barefoot Dreams. 

We had a blast at the event, and are already thinking of more events to host in the future. We'd love your suggestions on how you would like to interact in person or what you would like to see. Share with us and we'll start working on that for 2020!

You're Invited: 5 Year Anniversary Bash

When we created Magnolia Mamas way back when we had no idea what it would become or evolve into. And we can hardly believe it's been FIVE YEARS! Five! 

We are completely blown away by that thought, and feel so grateful for the support, kindness, and love we have felt over the last five years. We've met some amazing people and had some amazing experiences all from something we wanted to utilize as a creative outlet. 

We have so many surprises in store for you over the next month (because really if you're going to celebrate, you should CELEBRATE!), and we're kicking it off with some of our favorites. Think of the next month as kind of a recap of some of our favorite things over the last five years, and a way to celebrate YOU!

The sweet ladies of Findlay Rowe offered up their store for us to host a fun 5 year anniversary bash! October also marks their 8 year anniversary so we thought it would be fun to combine everything for one big celebration. 

We will have food, yummy drinks, Fall decor goodies on display, our favorite Fall fashions, and a few giveaway surprises (where if you attend you will get an extra entry!).

Get Game Day Ready with Findlay Rowe {Giveaway!}

Fall is full of sports fun and we are HERE FOR IT! There is nothing we love more than sporting our team colors with pride and cheering on our favorite teams. We love us some baseball (Go Braves!), and have really gotten into rooting for our professional soccer team (Go Atlanta United!), but the season we wait all year for is finally back - football season!

You can't step a foot into the south without realizing that football is a religion all on its own. Team pride is everywhere you turn. Front porches don game day decor year round. School merchandise can be purchased at almost any retail location. And game day attire is really just every day attire.

Football is officially back, and we are so excited! And because we are so excited we have decided to kick off football season this year in a major way. Like tailgate party and huge giveaway major!

Football season might be in the Fall, but let's be honest it's hot until almost the end of the season. So when we saw a whole wall of these...

...we were excited! 

Corkcicle game day tumblers. In all sizes! Perfect to keep our drinks cool now, and later (for that one possible cold game of the season) to keep them warm. We also thought these would make for awesome holiday or teacher's gifts for anyone who likes to shop ahead.

And let's take a minute to chat about Findlay Rowe's stadium approved purse selection. The ladies of Findlay Rowe recognized that no woman likes going anywhere with a hideous plastic purse. They've done their best to find the most adorable, most stylish stadium approved purses we've ever seen! There are team specific options, as well as a huge selection of neutral options available. 

We love their huge jewelry selection! These Dawg earrings are just too cute!
