Okay book loving friends - we are kicking off something new with our pals at Findlay Rowe and we can't wait to share it with you. This has been in the works for months, and now it is finally here!

We are excited to invite you to a new book club...

All Booked Up with Findlay Rowe will be a book club with a few layers. Think of it as us giving you a book club to join, but also a way for you to host your own book club. Our goal is to give you a suggestion and a few book centered ideas/items to take home with you to your own book club. Or maybe even inspire you to start one of your own! 

And we knew just the book to kick it off...

When we saw that Dolly Parton teamed up with famed writer James Patterson to write a country music based mystery novel, we knew Run Rose Run was the perfect book to begin with. 

Dolly is the queen of the South, but we have to say...Audrey and Barbara are a close second. And with a store filled with southern goodies at our finger tips, putting together the first All Booked Up with Findlay Rowe was a piece of cake.

OUR REVIEWS

Carrie Beth: I have always had a fascination with Dolly and couldn't wait to see what this book was all about.  I listened to it and for me that totally made the story.  Many of the characters are narrated by different people, including some big name country music starts including Dolly herself!  There was a bit of a mystery tied in to a story of the country music business and Nashville.  I found it all very entertaining!  If you enjoy country music I think you would love this book!

Jen: The second I saw Dolly Parton wrote a book (and teamed up with James Patterson), I knew I’d want to read it! I was given a sneak peek at the audio book and it is so good too! Dolly narrates it with a cast of country music stars. RUN ROSE RUN is a fun, enjoyable suspense novel based on a character who turns into a country music star with the help of a legend. Secrets threaten the musicians career and life, but she takes a “no hold” back approach to following her dreams. The characters are fun and endearing, and I was totally sucked into the gossipy peek at behind the scenes Dolly seemed to sneak in as fiction. The book was just twisty enough with mystery and romance that it kept my attention. Mix that in with the witty banter and Dolly's humor and I never wanted it to stop. Here's hoping she has a few more novels up her sleeve.

Spring Fashion with Findlay Rowe

 Spring might be our favorite season for fashion. Everything is warming up, and brighter colors start to emerge in our wardrobes - after a winter full of black and fleece, it's refreshing. And just like our homes, we've felt the need to do a little spring updating. 

We've made our way to the usual retail favorites to check on trends and pick up a few new staples here and there, but one of our favorite places for spring fashion finds is Findlay Rowe! You're Invited: Christmas Open House with Findlay Rowe!

We love us some holidays, but there is just something magical about the Christmas season. The minute the Halloween decor was put away, we couldn't wait to begin transforming our homes into our own little Santa's workshops. 

Yes - we are totally those people. 

So when the ladies at Findlay Rowe asked if wanted to join in on their holiday fun, and help host their annual holiday open house, we said, "YES!!!".

The magical elves at Findlay Rowe have spent a year gathering the most amazing holiday decor, clothing, gifts, and entertaining goodies. We got a sneak peek earlier this week and let's just say it's what holiday dreams are made of. 

We don't want to spoil all the fun, and they'll be announcing through their newsletter and social media channels some of the fun surprises they have in store. They've also been teasing their six themed trees they have in store all week. 

The trees are shoppable, and we want to take each an every one of them home with us. The event is worth going to just for the decor inspiration alone!

But who can resist going home with a little Barefoot Dreams, Hobo Bag, E. Newton, MudPie, or Vietri too?

You're Invited: 5 Year Anniversary Bash

When we created Magnolia Mamas way back when we had no idea what it would become or evolve into. And we can hardly believe it's been FIVE YEARS! Five! 

We are completely blown away by that thought, and feel so grateful for the support, kindness, and love we have felt over the last five years. We've met some amazing people and had some amazing experiences all from something we wanted to utilize as a creative outlet. 

We have so many surprises in store for you over the next month (because really if you're going to celebrate, you should CELEBRATE!), and we're kicking it off with some of our favorites. Think of the next month as kind of a recap of some of our favorite things over the last five years, and a way to celebrate YOU!

The sweet ladies of Findlay Rowe offered up their store for us to host a fun 5 year anniversary bash! October also marks their 8 year anniversary so we thought it would be fun to combine everything for one big celebration. 

We will have food, yummy drinks, Fall decor goodies on display, our favorite Fall fashions, and a few giveaway surprises (where if you attend you will get an extra entry!).

Red, White & Booze with Findlay Rowe {Giveaway!}

Fourth of July is our favorite holiday! We look forward to this All-American celebration each and every year. Some years we go big with a large themed celebration. Other years we go a little more low key floating with friends on the lake.

This year we knew we wanted to do a little something "extra" (because that's how we roll) to celebrate the holiday. And we knew just who we wanted to celebrate it with - the lovely ladies of Findlay Rowe!
