It's Still Great To Be A Georgia Bulldog

After all the Halloween festivities had wrapped up, and all little ghouls were in bed, I did a quick turnover of our house for just as big an event...the UGA vs. FL game.

Earlier in the week, I emailed some of our close friends and invited everyone over for the big game. I had big plans to have a fun outdoor tailgate party set up so the kids could run around, the men could throw the football around, and the ladies could sit in their lawn chairs and sip their cocktails before we moved inside for the game.

Then Saturday rolled around and I woke up to texts filled with mentions of snow flurries and even some containing pictures of actual accumulated snow. What?!? This is the South. In November, we are typically still wearing shorts. Better yet, on Monday when I sent the invite, I was wearing shorts.

This wasn't going to deter our fun group. We still planned on having a great time and enjoy a Dawg win!

Carrie Beth and her fun family were in attendance of course.

And of course, all my guests were greeted with her adorable burlap football

Since the entire party was moved entirely inside, no surface was left bare. Everywhere you turned it was an explosion of red and black filled with tailgate yumminess.

I even made a few new themed cocktails for the event. They were a big hit. Maybe a little too much on my part. I might have done a little pre-game testing to make sure I had just the right mixture. ;)

The other end of the island wasn't too shabby either. I love my cute little bulldog wine stoppers.

We had a chili station set up. Oh look is that a crockpot? It wouldn't be a complete party without one!

The station held our UGA art print that we printed on burlap for a fun change.

As the day went on though, we took it down to make room for more crockpots. I meant to take a pic so the hubby could bask in the visual greatness later, but I must have forgotten. I blame it on the juice.

Down came the Halloween mantel decor and it too got a quick Dawg makeover.

And it's always fun to bring these little guys out...

The basement was where most people ended up hanging out for the big game. There were dips for days...

Oh and look! Another crockpot!

And because no party is complete without a monogram, I whipped up these fun themed cups for us.

The game itself is not something I would like to recap for you. Let's just put it in the back of our memories and I will end with this cuteness.

Goooo Dawgs!
