My 2021 Goal: House Projects

I  don't know that I have ever been happier to welcome in a New Year like I did this year.  I don't usually make a resolution for the New Year, but I do like to make some general goals for each year.  My goal for 2020 was to travel more and we all see where that got me.  We cancelled trips to the Bahamas, Napa, and London. Sigh. This year I'm keeping my goals closer to home and in fact house projects is actually my number one goal this year.  I posted about that on Instagram Stories and had several people ask if I didn't get all my home projects done in 2020 when we were stuck at home. We actually didn't really do much in the way of our house indoors last year, but we did add the fence that I still love to come home to everyday.

We built our house about 7 years ago and when it was finally finished I was full speed ahead getting things decorated.  I bought furniture, made curtains, found rugs, picked pillows and then I just sort of "set it and forget it." (Anyone remember that infomercial?!)

We did finish our basement a few years ago, but besides that we have just been enjoying things like they are.  I also think that you can kind of get complacent about your home...or at least I can. I see it day in, day out and usually just see things like shoes my family can't seem to pick up and endless cleaning chores that need to be done.

However, after recently visiting a few friends' homes that had just been remodeled and checking out some amazing Instagram accounts I got the decorating bug.  That combined with the fact that we are spending more time at home these days, I made house projects my 2021 goal.

When I started thinking of all the things I wanted to do I got giddy with excitement.  I forgot how much I love Pinterest, how much I love a good DIY. It's so fun to see how things come together.  I've got a long list of projects and cannot wait to start tackling some of them. Some projects will be small (like making new curtains for my master), some will be DIY (for me that means painting furniture and for the Mr. that means power tools), some will involve new furniture (still on the hunt), and a lot will involve using our current furniture in different parts of my house.

One final project will be something MAJOR and I couldn't be more excited about it! I can't wait to take you all along with me this year to share everything I'm doing, both big and small, as I mark things off my decorating to-do list!

What is your goal for 2021?

Easy Healthy Eating with Whole Foods Market 365

Thank you Whole Foods Market 365 for sponsoring this post.  All thoughts, ideas and opinions are our own.

We've almost made it to the end of January and we are happy to report that our New Year's healthy living goals are still going strong. We've coming close to our goal of moving every day, eating better, and drinking lots of water (to go along with our wine)! ;-)

We love when stores make it easy for busy moms like us. We were recently introduced to the new Whole Foods Market 365 and absolutely love the concept!

It's an evolution of Whole Foods Market that everyone knows and loves.  They still focus on the same quality and great customer service, but in an easy shopping experience where you can get in and out quickly while still finding everything on your list. Another bonus is that Whole Foods Market 365 has  great items at lower prices!

The store layout is open and easy to navigate making shopping a breeze and actually enjoyable. From fresh produce to bakery items, they have it all.  Our very favorite thing they offer are all of their pre-made meals and snack options.

Neither of us really love to cook and more importantly, with three kids busy with sports it is rare that we have a free night at home to prepare a healthy meal for our families.  Options like soup kits and pre-made pasta dishes helps us to get dinner on the table without feeling the mom guilt.

We also love the easy on-the-go packaged snacks and items like Abe's Mini Muffins, Bright Greens Smoothie Packs, and fresh fruits that help make packing lunches and after school snacks a breeze.  So simple for the kids to grab on the way to practice and it helps us feel better knowing they are eating something healthy to fuel them for the afternoon.

The Freshpack Leaf Salads are probably our personal favorites because it allows us to have easy and healthy lunches on hand for during the week.

We grab one to eat in the car between errands and carpool and it saves us from a drive-thru meal that we will end up regretting later.

There are two brand new Whole Foods Market 365 stores in the Atlanta area. One in Buckhead and another in Decatur and we're hoping more will start popping up soon because it truly makes our job as moms easier!

Have you shopped at the new Whole Foods Market 365 yet?  Is there one in your area?

Tips For Helping Kids Achieve Their New Year's Goals

Although we still haven't shared our New Year's goals here on the blog, I have been thinking about it a lot and also wanted to get my kids involved. I love the New Year because it is a time to reset, reevaluate, and refresh.  My kids are naturally pretty goal oriented so I talked with each of them about what they wanted to achieve in 2019.

My oldest daughter made a "vision board" by printing out images, cutting out pictures from magazines, and writing goals or things she wanted focus on this year.  She came up with this idea on her own, which I just loved!  She has it hanging in her room to serve as a reminder.

Although my younger two had no interested in a vision board, they did talk about what they wanted to achieve this year and I also interjected some things that I thought they needed to work on, too.

Towards the end of 2018 life just happened. We got busy, so I got a little lazy as a mom, and let things slide that I normally wouldn't.  But, with the new year amongst us and the kids starting back to school this past Monday I wanted to do a hard reset.  Things like the way technology is used, the way homework and studying is done, and the focus of our very precious and very little free time.

I thought I would share some of the tips I am doing to help support my kids in achieving their 2019 goals in hopes that someone else who is ready for a reset might find a little inspiration!

5 Tips for Helping Kids Achieve Their New Year's Goals

1. Take Away Technology - Yikes!  I can't believe I even wrote those words. Now I'm not taking away their devices completely, but some big changes happened.  I found that they were spending way too much time watching YouTube, scrolling Instagram and messaging with friends when they could be spending that time in a more productive way. Now, this is totally the pot calling the kettle black because I am also guilty of spending too much time on social media (Instagram Stories are my weakness).  So the new rule in our house is that their phones, iPads, etc. are off limits when we are at home unless certain things are completed (see next tip below for the details).

We have plenty of time in the car getting to sports that they can use their devices and if they finish all their other responsibilities they can use it at home, but we are cutting back big time...especially during the school week.  This wasn't a shock to the kids. I had been telling them all during the break that things were going to be changing a bit when school started back so they were ok with it.

2. Make It Visual - In order to keep up with their responsibilities and tasks that are going to be good uses of their time, I wanted to create something that would give them ownership.  Not just me nagging at them to do something or saying "no phones."  Instead, they helped me come up with things they needed to do each day in order to achieve their goals.

Obviously homework and studying will help with good grades at school, cleaning their rooms will help keep me off their backs and practicing their sports skills will help them get on the teams they are aspiring for.  The reading part is for my own sanity because although they like to read at night in bed, I can't always be sure that we can squeeze that in.  Usually we get home pretty late after sports stuff so getting it done earlier in the day makes sure that they get it done!

I just created these quick little charts and personalized them for each kid.  I saved them so I can print off a copy each week.  They are taking ownership by checking the boxes and keeping up with what they should be doing. After all the boxes are checked and they have truly completed everything without rushing through it they can use a phone or iPad, if they choose to.

3. Get Organized - I am an organized person by nature. I come by it honest because my mom is super organized so it rubbed off on me.  I love making lists and I still keep an old-school paper planner that I swear keeps my life on track and keeps us going in the right direction each day.

My girls are starting to learn a lot of these organizational tasks and love keeping up with their schedules so I got them each planners for 2019 so they can keep up with what they have each day.

4. Get Involved - This one is on me as a mom.  While my girls are both very organized and great and keeping up with homework and tests, I found they still need guidance.  I'm getting involved by making sure they not only just looked over the information for a test, but actually know it inside and out. No more just taking their word for it.

Sports goals are going to be achieved with lots of practice and me actually getting out there and helping them with practicing is going to go a lot further to help them achieve their goals.  Of course, I could always find something to do inside like laundry, cleaning or answering an email, but when they want my help, I'm going to do my best to get involved.

5. Find What Motivates Them - I am not above bribery.  It works for some kids and mine are highly motivated by that carrot dangling in front of them.  I'll never forget when my Blondie seemed to have lost her competitive drive during soccer games.  She was four years old and used to score all the time then all of the sudden she just kind of ran along with all of the other kids.  Next game I offered her a dollar if she scored a goal and she scored twice!

If there is something specific they want (within reason) we are making deals that as certain goals are achieved they will be rewarded.  It might be as simple as a treat from the concession stand after a home run, a trip to get nails done after a new tumbling skill is accomplished or something bigger after a huge goal is met.

Do your kids set goals each New Year?  What are some ways you help them achieve their goals?

2018 Goals...Maybe?

So...we are well in 2018, but this has been one of the trickiest posts to write. I don't even know why. Carrie Beth always does an awesome job at her goals! I'm always so impressed with her, and her ability to come up with meaningful goals.

Me on the other hand?

< crickets >

Last year, instead of sharing goals, I shared two words we would live by for the year. It was such a millennial thing to do, but since I'm on that whole bubble between Generation Y and millennials, I apparently opted to cling to my youth.

Our two words were "consolidate" and "adventure". Looking back at 2017, we totally nailed these "goals".

Consolidate: We did managed to do a lot of things to manage the stress in lives, clean out our homes, and somehow just before the end of the year I was able to lose 10 pounds. I call it the run and eat Christmas cookies only diet. It apparently worked. (Disclosure Statement: Totally not FDA approved and results may vary. )

Adventure: Oh, did we adventure. We went to beach. We saw cities. We took a vacation with out the kids. We played tourist in our own city. We threw epic parties just because. We Disney'ed with a six year old, a three year old and a baby - and if that's not an adventure, I don't know what is. In 2017, we were jam packed with adventure.

While I'm channeling my inner millennial, I can go ahead and lay out my word for 2018 now...

I'll let you interpret that as you wish.

I'm an incredibly goal driven person, and couldn't figure out why this wasn't coming clearly to me as the new year approached. So I turned to my goal guru for advice. Carrie Beth is such a good friend. She sat there and listened to my rough draft of potential goals and didn't even give me one eye roll. She might have wanted to, but not even a twitch. See...besties.

So my goal guru/bestie and I did a little brainstorming, and came up with a more realistic (and maybe slightly less superficial) goal list for 2018.

< drumroll >

Jen's Goals for 2018

1: Have a body that makes 21 year olds jealous.
Superficial? Totally. Attainable? Possibly. I'm putting that cookie/running diet to the test. Check back in December 2018.

In all seriousness, the back half of 2017 I made some major changes and the results are slowly starting to show. I'm hoping this carries over to 2018 in a major way. I eat cleaner, and changed up my workout routine. What worked before wasn't working so I made some adjustments and am now making headway. Stay tuned...

2: Have individual date time with members in my family.
The way our life is set up makes for a crazy schedule, and no amount of adjusting will change that. We are used to it and it's our norm. However, it doesn't lend to much one on one time with each individual - especially when it comes to the kids. This year I plan on trying to carve out some date time with each person in my family. My babysitters will be so excited because I will probably triple their income for the year, but I think the end results will be worth it.

3: Become comfortable with saying NO.
I say yes a lot. Way too much. To everyone and every thing. This year I am determined to say "no" more. And here's the real goal - to not feel guilty about it.

4: Put the phone down.
I'm actually pretty good about stepping away (my iWatch majorly helped this), but my goal this year is to determine chunks of time to be on my phone. I realize in our culture we've made our entire lives be on our phones. Heck, I even use my phone to pay for things now. But I don't want my kids to see this all the time. I know it will eventually be their norm too, but before that I want to be an example and establish really good habits.

5: Adventure somewhere new.
We do a good job of this each year, but I like to keep it as a rolling goal. I like being able to get us out of our comfort zones, exploring new places, and learning new things. It's a big world people, see as much of it as you can!

And those are my goals for 2018. Others will come and go throughout the year, and I've learned these will evolve as time goes on (I mean maybe just make 80 year olds jealous???), but I love that I have a good benchmark to start from. Bring it on 2018!

What are some of your goals for 2018? Superficial or not...I want to hear them all!

New Year, New Goals {2018}

Every January I feel like it is a great time to set new goals and resolutions.  I always love reading other peoples goals and seeing what is important for them to focus on as a new year begins.  Last year  I shared my goals and I'd say I nailed 3 out of 5 of them. Hoping to get a redo for the other two in 2018 so I'm just going to carry those over to this year!

2017 Goals
1. Complete little house projects.  I got a lot of things checked off my list and feel pretty good about this one. From painting some furniture and almost completing Boo-Boo's baseball room (that I still need to share), this was a focus I was excited about.

2. Complete BIG house projects.  We finished our basement this past year and did pretty big landscaping project.  I still need to share the finished products of both of these here on the blog!  They were time consuming and took a lot of effort and energy on our part, but we love the outcomes and have really enjoyed having these spaces for entertaining and for our own family to use.

3. Read more. FAIL!!!!  I started off great, but just couldn't quite seem to find the time to keep up with this goal. Hoping for a redo of this one in 2018.

4. Host friends/family for dinner at our house.  I didn't do this one as much as I would have liked, but a big part of it is that we just really stayed so busy that we weren't able to find the time. Our weekends are packed with sports and kids' activities, but with our new spaces I'm hoping to do more of this in 2018. We started the year off right with a New Year's Eve party with friends at our house!

5. Create meaningful moments with my kids.  Of all the things I did this year, this has to have been my favorite.  We traveled, we had local adventures, experienced the eclipse, celebrated when our teams did well and even just enjoyed little things like trips to Starbucks.  I soaked up as much of those little meaningful moments as I could and as a result it was a really amazing year.

2018 Goals
1. Read more. I think this might be the third year this goal has been on my list.  I just can't ever seem to find much time, but I love to read so I am really hoping to do more of it in 2018.

2. Host friends/family at our house.  I'd love to have more people over. Our busy schedules make that kind of tricky, but I know we can find some time to squeeze in fun and use our new spaces!

3.  Plan more playdates for the kids. One thing I used to be really good at is planning playdates for my kids. At least once a week (sometimes more often) they would have friends over and we all used to love that time.  Now it's become harder because not only are we busier, but their friends are also. However, just like my goal above, I would love to find little pockets of time to have their friends over because it is so important for them to develop strong bonds and friendships with their friends outside of school and sports.  Plus, with my oldest heading off to middle school next year, I know good girlfriends is going to be key!

4.  Put my kids to bed earlier.  I know they need good sleep, especially during the week, but when we get home late from sports and have to eat late it pushes everything back. Or, even if they are just having fun playing games or hanging out with the Mr., who they haven't seen all day, it is hard to make them stop the fun and go to bed. However, we all pay for it in the morning. I'm not a morning person and I have somehow passed that along to my kids. Yesterday was our first day back to school and when I woke up Boo-Boo he told me he just needed to sleep a few more hours. Poor kid...I felt the same way!

5. Pack lunches right after school.  This may seem silly, but I despise packing lunches. I don't know what it is about it, but I really dread it every night. I think it is usually because I'm ready to unwind and relax or go to bed and then it hits me that I still have to pack lunches for the next day.  SO, I've talked to a lot of friends and several of them say they pack their kids lunches as soon as they unpack the lunch boxes.  SO, right after school when I'm emptying lunch boxes I'm going to repack while I'm helping with homework, etc..  We'll see how it goes and I'll keep y'all updated, but hoping this will help with me dreading this task.

Words to Live By

Yesterday Carrie Beth shared her goals for the new year. I am so proud/impressed with her! She did so good at maintaining and accomplishing her resolutions for 2016! Each of the last few years I've come up with new resolutions, and each year I fail miserably.

Don't get me wrong, I am a goal driven person.  But the last few years
"life" occurs, and I realized that my goals had to evolve. For example, a few years ago when I made it a goal to run a 5k - and win (Honestly what was I even thinking? I hate running!). Well, fast forward halfway into the year and I found myself pregnant with Baby Cute. Could I have still run the 5k and attempted to win? Yes. Did I make that goal a priority? Not even in the least. My new goals evolved in the ways of planning an adorable nursery, a millions ways to coordinate the kids in matching outfits without Mr. Cute taking my clothing shopping privileges away from me, and eating as many doughnuts as humanly possible.

Last year held a lot of ups and a lot of downs. As a family, we learned a lot - both about life and ourselves.  We could not have been more excited at the possibility of a new year and starting "fresh". When we were at Reynolds Plantation last month the subject of New Year's goals came up. During the discussion, we decided that rather than base our year off goals we wanted to come up with a word or a theme for our year. The Cutes thought the idea of a theme was so funny, but surprisingly they were really into it.

Mr. Cute and I picked one word, and we let the kids pick one word, and here's what we came up with...

"Consolidate"
This was obviously the word Mr. Cute and I came up with. This word encompasses a lot of things, but ultimately it's our way of saying time to scale back and regroup to be less stressed. So in 2017, our year's theme is to consolidate our stuff, our commitments, and maybe even our waistlines (see donut comment above).

"Adventure"
When the kids came up with this one I was all in. In all honesty, when asked what word The Cutes wanted as a theme for their year Cute replied with, "STAR WARS!" L.C. concurred enthusiastically, but I quickly redirected because trust me, I have enough Star Wars in my life. When I asked what they meant by adventure, Cute responded with,

"Where we can only do something fun on one day, and it can't be where we sit on the couch at home. And you have to only do things that make you smile.

Well, who can argue with that?

So adventure it is! Now to see where that word takes us...

What would your one word for the year be?

Happy New Year everyone!!

New Years Goals 2017

Happy New Year, y'all!  It's going to take me a while to get used to typing/writing 2017, but I'm sure it will quickly become the new norm.  We had a fun weekend getaway to celebrate NYE with some friends and I will share about that later this week, but today is all about goals!

A new year means a new start and just like in years past, I wanted to share my goals for this new year. Before I do that though, I thought it might be fun to revisit the goals from last year to see how I did.

My 2016 Goals
1.  Organize.  I am a very organized person, but at times I feel like my life is in complete disorganization. I feel like I'm going a million miles an hour and in a million different directions.  Things pile up, stuff gets tossed in closets and forgotten about and my time because used in ways that are not productive.  So my big goal for this year is to organize.

Organization at Home - We've been in our house for 18 months now and it's about this time that parts of the house are starting to get unorganized. I've learned this about myself, but if things are left out, piled on counters or not in their places, it causes me so much stress and anxiety. I plan to go room by room, closet by closet, and cabinet by cabinet.  I will clean out, donate old and unwanted things, organize the stuff that is staying and most importantly, encourage my family to put things where they belong!  This also includes organizing the garage and basement...two areas I dread doing, but I know will feel so good once it is done.

I was really good about getting parts of our home organized, but of course, this is something that is a never-ending project.  After the holidays with new things to find homes for, I especially need to clean out a bit more, but I feel like I made a great effort regarding this goal last year.

Organizing My Time - As far as organizing my time goes, I just want to be very cognizant of how I spend my time.  I always have a long to-do list of things that are important, but somehow things don't get done when I would like for them to because I'm busy working on other things that just don't matter.  I want to make better use of my time when my kids are at school so that when they are home I am able to focus on them.  Once they are home from school I really don't have any time do the other stuff because I'm helping with homework, driving them from different practices and lessons, cooking dinner and getting everyone to bed.  I volunteer at their schools a lot, but sometimes I end up being at the school 3-4 times a week. I love being there and being able to help out, but I need to schedule the times I will be there more thoughtfully so that I have time for the other things I need to accomplish as well.

I was very successful at organizing my time better last year.  I worked hard to get things done during the day while the kids were at school so that I could spend my afternoons with them.  Really they need all of my attention when they are home (between helping with homework and driving them to practices, etc.).  I also have become more intentional about the days/times I volunteer at their school so that has been a huge help, too!

2.  Take Care of Myself.  I am quick to do things for other people and often put myself on the back burner. This year I want to make sure I am also taking care of myself.  That includes making some doctor's appointments I have been putting off, making good food choices, taking time to exercise like I should and making sure I'm getting enough sleep!

I'm happy to say that of all the things I did last year, this was one of my priorities. I started working out regularly, eating better, sleeping more and just taking care of myself the way I should have been all along!  You might remember my Mommy Maintenance series that I began a while back and that will be continuing into the new year as I share ways I'm taking care of myself.

My Goals for 2017

1. Complete little house projects.  There are several house projects that I want to complete that are little things hanging out on my to-do list.  A few are painting projects of some furniture I want to refinish and it is just about me finding time to squeeze it in. I'm hoping to work on those in the next couple of weeks and get them done so I can share with all of you!

2. Complete BIG house projects.  We are planning and preparing to do some BIG house projects at home and the Mr. and I are super excited about them.  One includes finishing our basement and another will be a big yard project.  We're still in the planning stages, but hoping to get the ball rolling on these things soon so I know this will be a big focus for 2017. I can't wait to share the progress with all of you!

3. Read more.  I love to read, but I just don't make time for it.  Even if it is just a chapter or two a day from a fun book. I want to do less social media scrolling and more real reading.

4. Host friends/family for dinner at our house.  I love entertaining and we always talk about doing it, but we get busy with the kids sports and other family activities and don't have people over the way I would like to.  There are a lot of families that I think we could be closer with if we would just extend the invitation, so my goal this year is to invite friends over for dinner once a month.

5. Create meaningful moments with my kids.  It absolutely blows my mind that my oldest is going to be turning 10 this year.  10 years old!  And, I can hardly believe that Boo-Boo, the baby of the bunch, will be starting Kindergarten this year. I just feel like time is flying and I am trying to dig in my heels as much as I can to make time slow down. I feel selfish and I feel like I am not ready for them to grow up. I would turn back the clock to the day Little Mama was born and do it all over again if I could.  But, I can't. So instead I'm going to really try to create meaningful moments with my kids.  Whether that is one-on-one time with them or fun family outings that we can all do together. I just want to soak up every second and not take one day for granted.

Organization Update

I can hardly believe the first month of the year is already over.  I wanted to share a little update of how my New Year's Goals are going.  If you remember one of my goals was to take care of myself and I am happy to report that I have made several doctor's appointments, including my first ever dermatologist appointment.  I was having a major issue with my chapped lips and it was becoming unbearable.  It was more than chapped lips though. It was red around my mouth and so painful.  At first I thought it was just excessive chapped lips or sunburned lips this summer.  Then it continued and after about 6 months of off and on with the same issue I finally made an appointment. Can you tell I don't love going to the doctor?  Anyone else would not have allowed it go on this long, but I kept thinking it would go away on it's own. Well one week after seeing the dermatologist I can say that the issue is finally resolved.  She thinks it was a contact allergy reaction of some sort.  She instructed me to stop using all chapsticks, lip glosses and lipsticks for the time being and only use vaseline to hydrate my lips.  I LOVE chapstick. I'm addicted to it and have it all over...stashed in my car, in drawers in the house...everywhere. I also have many different varieties and brands so I have no idea which one was causing my problems. All I know is the problems are gone after I went cold turkey on everything except vaseline. Now I'll slowly reintroduce one lipstick or chapstick at time so I can figure out what was causing the allergy.  So happy to have this mostly behind me though.

I have also really gone to town on my goal of getting organized this year.  It has felt SO good.  This next month will be crazy busy for us with some travel and trips, so I wanted to work overtime in January to check some stuff off my list.  The first place I started was in our pantry. When we built our house I wanted a really large pantry, which has been great, but it also becomes a place to throw stuff and close the door, so I was excited to throw out old stuff, organize what was left, and have some order to what was in there.

Before

Boo-boo kept asking what was in all those baskets...its all your snacks, Buddy!

After
Next up was the playroom.  For the most part the playroom stays pretty organized. I make the kids clean up each evening and everything has a basket or place to stay. However, large items sometimes begin to float around and get left out. I picked up a few more basket and bins and am happy to report everything is staying in it's place now.

Another thing that had been on my to-do list for quite some time was to add to our art gallery wall. I love, love, love this wall in the playroom. I use it to display the kids' artwork and I add to it every so often. It had been a while and I had a stack of artwork collecting so I went to Wal-Mart and picked up a variety of black frames and got to work.  This is SO much better than having all of this artwork sit in a closet somewhere.

My girls' rooms were next. They love stuff.  Any kind of stuff. Things form friends, little do-dads, art work, trinkets...anything. They love it and they don't want to get rid of it. It took a major cleaning out, but their rooms are so organized now so I hope to keep it that way.

Even their closets got a make-over. I already had lots of bins and baskets, so we just went through what they had and re-organized what was there to make it make more sense.

Under their sinks was a mess.  They love products and accessories (like their mama) but it was getting out of control.  By just putting things in a place and giving everything a home, it made it look so much better!

Blondie's closet was more of the same.  She would be a total slob if I let her.  So I had her help me go through her things, clean out, organize her room and it has been great. I've also encouraged her to keep putting things away where they belong and it has really helped.

While I was working away inside, the Mr. took over the garage. My organization must have rubbed off on him because he even labeled stuff.  Yes, labeled!  I was so very happy and hope we can keep it this way!

Mostly I used bins and baskets I already owned, but I did got to HomeGoods to get a few things to help in my mission and that was the case in Boo-Boo's room. He loves playing in his room after I put him to bed, and I'm totally fine with it.  The problem comes when he doesn't put his stuff away and the next day looks like this:

Drives me crazy!!! So a few baskets later, everything has a place and I keep encouraging him to pick up his things and he has been great about it.

Lastly, my little work space got spruced up and is so much easier to work with now.

I threw out old papers, put things where they belonged, got rid of a few things and now my space is more open and manageable.

I still have a long way to go. There are a lot of closets that have been collecting things and rooms that need some attention, but I got the year started off with a bang and hope we can just all keep it this way!
