Savvy Sassy Sunday: Apothederm Firming Serum

I think every woman around my age dreads facing that awful "w" word.  Y'all know what I'm talking about - wrinkles.  A few years ago I started noticing those little lines on my face and decided it was time to start paying more attention to my skin. I knew I wasn't getting any younger and that this was the only skin I would have, so I better make it last.  Like most women, looking younger is a major goal so I started trying to be a little more proactive in an attempt to hang on to some of my youth.

What I've decided I really want are those magical powers Rapunzel's hair provides Mother Gothel in the Disney movie, Tangled.  You know when she goes from gray and wrinkled to young and fresh looking within moments?  Unless someone can figure out how to bottle up that magic, I'm going to have to take other measures.

I'm really careful now about always wearing sunscreen, moisturizing like crazy, and I try to wear a hat as much as possible to totally block the sun when I'm going to be outdoors.  Aside from those preventative measures I've also been testing and trying all sorts of products.  I was really excited to try Apothederm Firming Serum when it arrived as part of our Savvy Sassy Mom's Product Scout Box.

I've been using it a few weeks now and I really have loved the way it makes my skin feel.  Not only does it make my skin feel firmer and tighter after applying it, I think it also gives my skin it a brightness that wasn't there before.  The serum moisturizes while it firms so it reduces the signs of aging.  And, hello, isn't that what we all want?!?

While I don't know if I will ever find that magic potion most skincare claims to be, this is one product that has become a part of my everyday beauty routine and I intend to keep it there to help me combat those fine lines and help me by looking my best!
