Friday Favorites: Life & Last Minute Gifts

Happy Friday everyone! This Friday is especially fun because we are officially starting our Christmas Break. Wahoo!!! I am so excited, and have so many fun things planned over the next few weeks. Most of all though, getting to snuggle late into the morning with The Cutes! Ah, no schedule...

I'm so excited I feel like this...

Two whole weeks!! I said it before, but I will say it again - WAHOO!!

We've had a lot going on lately, and I have a ton of fun favorites to share with you this week. Only one week until Christmas so I thought I would wrap up my list sharing some last minute gift ideas.

Linking up with some of our favorite bloggers again and here are this weeks favorites...

ONE
We are in full on holiday mode over here and last weekend I got word of a fun Frozen themed event they were doing in our city. Not one to back down from anything holiday, or Frozen, or that serves any sort of sugary treat, we packed up the family on Saturday afternoon to check out the event. It was super cute and had tons of fun games for the littles to play!

And maybe the adults too...

We met Olaf and gave him high fives multiple times.

We checked out the bounce houses and the giant snow globe you could get into. And we even did a little surfing.

I think the biggest hit was seeing the ice skaters and the "snow". It was 75 degrees out so that was definitely a sight to see. :)

TWO
In other big news this week we did some major things in the nursery (finally!!). Mr. Cute broke out his power tools and began making my vision come to life. More to come on this later but here is a fun sneak peek...

I can't wait to see it finished, and have a new little Cute to put in there!

THREE
Speaking of Mr. Cute, he decided our yard needed a little holiday sprucing up on one of his many trips to Home Depot. I came outside to check on the boys and found them grinning ear to ear over this...

We are now the proud owners of the Star Wars holiday inflatable collection. Totally not my thing, but seeing how excited they were to have Yoda and Darth join us for the holiday season makes me love it too.

FOUR
This on repeat...

Michael Buble Christmas

FIVE
Still loving my Loyal Hana maternity clothes, and am glad they are so roomy because not gonna lie...things are getting tight in the belly region.

The lovely people at Loyal Hana reached out to us and wanted to give you guys a little gift for the holidays. Use code MAGNOLIA40 for a 40% discount! I truly do love their line and have my eye on a few more fun things. Here are some of my other favorites:

SIX
Currently I am running around doing a lot of last minute shopping for next week. I can't believe Christmas is only a week away and we have a full week leading up to the big holiday! For this favorite I thought I would share some of my favorite last minute gifts or fun finds in case you guys need any last minute ideas too!

FOR THE ORGANIZER
I love being on top of things and have multiple notebooks around to make notes in, jot down quick ideas, or write down a "to-do" for later. When I ordered my Christmas cards a few weeks ago, I also ordered this fun notebook with our photo on it from Minted.

It's the perfect size to just throw in your purse, and I love that the cover has a plastic overlay so it won't get beat up next to the nine million other things in my bag. Such a great and personal gift for anyone on your list!

FOR THE GIRLY GIRL
You can never ever go wrong with jewelry. Ever. Hear that husbands - NEVER EVER!!

I love these sparkly Kate Spade glitter studs. I have them in the Opal color, and know they are on CB's wish list this holiday. They are fun and girly and the perfect little gift to put under the tree.

For a steal, I found these cute emerald color studs. I gave them to each of Cute's teachers this year. They come in a ton of colors, but I loved the emerald color for Christmas.

FOR THE ARTIST
The hottest new thing of 2015 seemed to be adult coloring books. Everywhere I turned there was a set of these books - the grocery store, Instagram, the kids hair cut place (if there is anywhere you need stress relief it is totally there!)...

If you have a creative person on your list or someone you know that enjoys having a little down time these adult coloring books will make for the perfect gift. Package them with some coloring utensils and you are all set.

I gave them a whirl and it actually is soothing and relaxing (unless your toddler wants in on it. My stress level went through the roof and there were lots of "Stay in the lines. Please?!?".

FOR THE SOUTHERN GENTLEMAN
The hottest thing this season seems to be the Yeti cups. I swear I hear about these cups everywhere I turn! There are two things I have learned that southern gentleman like...their drinkware and their bourbon. Okay, well they like a few more things than that, but those two totally top the list.

Pair these cups with their favorite bourbon and maybe even include these fun ice cube trays and you will be all set!

FOR THE BOOK WORM
I love this gift idea. I am so guilty of reading at night in bed and sometimes Mr. Cute just wants the lights off. I've converted to reading on my Kindle as a compromise, but sometimes it just isn't the same. The PageGlow seems to solve that problem!
The PageGlow lights up just the page without being too bright to bother your bed companion. Genius!

FOR EVERYONE
Socks! Yes, that's right - socks! Socks have become a huge fashion accessory. I've purchased a few fun pairs for people on my list this year, and it was so fun thinking of what each person would like. There is a little something for everyone in this category, and since it is winter it is the perfect practical and fun gift. From cute frilly boot socks for the ladies, to cozy fireside snuggle socks, to quirky dress socks...there is something for everyone on your list!

For the men...

For the ladies...

(I secretly think I want every pair on this list. Those grey ruffle ones especially!)

For the kids...

Even for babies...

What are some of your favorites this week? Have any last minute gift suggestions???

Happy Friday!

  4. On your child's birthday parties you can rent a bounce houses which are much surprising to your child more than gifts. Because for that they are not only enjoying party also playing on party with friends.
