Fashion Fix: Fall Fashion Preview {Giveaway}

Today we are sharing some of our favorite fall fashion trends. For some it is hard to think of comfy jeans and cozy sweaters when it is still over 90 degrees outside, but we can't wait for the day that we can slip on our favorite booties and frolic in those cool crisp apple orchards.

Last week, I shared with you a little sneak peek at the trends that The Avenue shared with us during their VIP blogger event. Today I am going to give you a more in depth look at some of our favorite trends we spotted during the event.

First up, let's review Pantone's Colors for Fall 2015. The colors this fall are dreamy, and right up my alley.  I can see so many fun combos with these colors and from what the ladies at Van Michaels Salon shared about beauty this fall the shades of berry and olive will match perfectly with make up trends.

Keeping colors in mind, here are some of our favorite fall trends.

FAVORITE FALL TRENDS

Trend #1: Skinny Pants

Skinny pants have been a hit for years. Well fell in love with these that we saw at the Loft fall preview. They have several different fits for all body types and their pants are created with a wider band at the top that is more conducive to flattering a woman's curves.

What is even better is that these pants all come in petite and tall sizes - everyone should be able to find exactly the perfect pair to flatter their figure.

I also fell in love with this fun pair...

I love love LOVE this fun gingham pair! In the south gingham is a staple, and I am not gonna lie, how cute would this be with little pops of red to cheer on UGA this football season. Just saying. :) 

Trend #2: Military Style Jackets

Military Style Jacket are trending again this fall, and are a great way transition piece with their lightweight feel. These three were our favorite that we saw throughout the day. Each have their own twist on this great look.

Trend #3: Chambray

This classic style has made a comeback in a big way and is everywhere this fall. Whether all by itself or layered with a cozy sweater, this versatile fabric will definitely need to make its way to your closet as a wardrobe staple this fall.

Trend #4: Tassels
Tassels are huge this fall and EVERYWHERE. Literally if there is a place on your body you can put a tassel, there will be a fashion item to do so. We love this fun little trend and were so excited to see just how huge it will be this fall. Some of our favorite tassel finds might just have to come home with us too.

How darling is this denim and leather tasseled doctor tote?

And these tasseled scarfs are the perfect layering piece for those transitional days.

And how adorable are these tasseled booties? The nude color will go with everything and the tassel adds just that bit of flair to make it a little fancier this fall.


Trend #5: Southwestern Inspiration
We learned on our tour that Southwestern inspired pieces will be very popular this fall, particularly in jewelry. With lots of turquoise and hints of reds and corals, this is definitely a trend we are willing to embrace.

Love this fun feathered necklace. It's layered look all in one is perfect for a grab and go style piece, and would punch up any plain t-shirt and jeans look in just one snap.

These earrings...oh my, I need them to come home with me. Loved the hint of turquoise and the fringe of gold feathers.
